With seven hard-points F-7BGI
I was looking for pictures of F7BGI with 7 hard points. But didnt find any
^^^
The latest variant of PL-9 is called PL-9C (as seen above) with improved multi-band all-aspect InSb IR seeker, a radio fuse and a new programmable digital processor giving it a greater IRCCM capability and higher killing probability. Speed is Mach 3.5 and load is 40g. Its forward control fins are similar to those of AIM-9L (double delta). PL-9C range is around 20km and it is expected to be the standard air-to-air weapon for the new F-7BGI series exported to Bangladesh.
According to credible sources the KLJ-6F Fire control Radar for F-7 BGI " has...86 km+ Range which is near BVR or BVR ... and can track 6 and engage 2 enemy aircraft simultaneously."
Since it is secret/classified information - we can't vouch for it, but true BVR missiles like the SD-10/SD-10A which have 70 KM range have been inducted as well with the F-7 BGI since it is logical that the KLJ-6F Fire control radar allows the use of the SD-10 and its increased range over the PL-9C. Cost or induction technology is certainly not a factor. CATIC sources as well as Jane's have proven since 2012 that the SD-10 was designed for J-7, F-7 and J-8 as well as the newer J-11, J-12, FC-1/JF-17 platforms.
With seven hard-points F-7BGI can carry a combination of Air to Air missiles, Laser Guided and GPS Guided Bombs and other Precision Guided Munitions. F-7 BGI is capable of carrying anti-ship missiles like the C-704. but you will never find such pictures because such evidence would be a strategic affront to any neighboring nation. But if the C-704 can be carried in a belly hardpoint, so can a pair of SD-10's.
So these measures are cost effective enough for Bangladesh' defensive airforce needs which is not in a paranoid adversarial scenario with any nation nor is engaged in a game of military one-upmanship. Problems with neighboring nations are far more easily (and maturely) resolved with diplomacy, detente and political leverage. Besides - no one is interested in invading Bangladesh anytime soon.
BAF considers the F-7BGI a stop-gap measure until better fighters than the Mig-29 are inducted. It will be foolhardy to compare the F-7BGI to F-7PG or F-7BG. There is a world of difference in capabilities between the two types.
Fact is BAF F-7 any version does not have the capability to fire BVRAAMS. Putting in a word like "according to credible sources" is a ridiculous thing as there is no such sources.^^^

BG1,s does not have
1) BVRAAMS capability,
2) KLJ-6F radar, and
3) Anti-ship missile capability.
Not a single credible source validates that the junk fighter F-7BG1, have the 3 capabilities listed above.
