Ban on sheesha cafes extended

LAHORE: The Punjab government has extended ban on sheesha cafes, under Section 144 CPC, in the revenue limits of Sargodha for further two months.

According to a notification issued by the Punjab Home Department, the ban on sheesha cafes in the revenue limits of Okara has also been extended for another one month.

I doubt health has anything to do with the decision.

I would bet the government took this precaution not to let Sheesha Cafe's obtain the status of Tea house.
Where young ( Internet && social media savvy ) people could convene and propagate political will.

These are some what like Hukka's used in villages

Basically there is a pot n a pipe connected to it through which u inhale

Look at the pic in OP's post u might have seen it in some old Indian movies

We also have them in Indian Cities in big no. My city Jaipur also banned Sheesha a few months back...

Sheeha also means lead (pb), It may be some thing to do with pipes or the metal, I thought.

I know Hukka is all about tabacco what i meant was it looks similar to Hukka...

Besides although Sheesha does not contain tobacco as it basically uses artificial flavours but it does contain Caffine(if i rem it correctly) in small %age but as it is generally consumed for prolonged hours it could causes addiction n health problems...

Punjab Government should prepare some law for permanent ban of Sheesha. Sheesha is more dangerous then Cigerette.

since the Sheesha is banned for the cafes, the basements and dedicated houses in Cantonment and DHA are getting more visitors, and those places are more than just a sheesha cafe, if you know...
