What's new

Balochistan violence: 868 killed, 2390 missing since 2010

indians have more pain then anyone else on earth you know why ?

I'm sure you have nothing but 100% GENUINE sympathy. You guys are such angels, you care about us soooo much.

Dil se dil ko rahat hoti hai.. Jab tum hamare Kashmiri logo pe itni jaan chidakte ho, to hamara bhi kuch farz banta hai na, Balochi or Sindhi logon ki taraf ;)

But promise.. Our support to them is only moral and political

You know more about us that us?
Not only balochs, others have been also neglected, but guess what none of us ever became antiPakistan, we still love Pakistan and will continue doing so.

Also, new generation of punjabis arent racist at all.
You indians dont know anything so better stay out.
Oooops it looks like you are forgeting Bengali Muslims of Ex East Pakistan...i know you will blame RAW for that too but at that time RAW didn't have any other option as alot of bengali from Then East Pakistan were illegali migrating to our country which was putting huge burden on our ecomomy.....

Secondly, as faar as your comment about new Generation of Punjabi's is concern then dude that is classic example of ''Too Little,Too Late''

At first yes.

But then he offered india which was denied by Jawaharlal Nehru.

After the denial by jawaharlal nehru he offered Jinnah to merge his state with Pakistan which was accepted by Jinnah.

But I came to know at many sources that Kalat was conquered and Khan's brother led an armed insurgency just after merger.

Another reason added to my list of Reasons why Jawahar Lal Nehru was not a good leader.......i always believed that the only person who saved us in post independence was ''Shri Vallabhai Patel''

Nehru's decision was good as Balochistan may proved as our own version of East Pakistan isolated from India.

well 1st thing no one should compare balochistan with kashmir , these are two different issues ....
here balochistan is for us like , asam or moist states of india ..
so there PAKISTAN shouldn't interfere and here india should avoid to fish in troubled waters ......
for our govt it is sad that that neither our govt , nor establishment has learned from the past ....
Baloch people like us are of tribal background and are born fighters and they need to handled with love and as per their traditions without hurting their honor and prestige...
Common baloch has nothing to do with insurgency , he wants peace and prosperity like other PAKISTANIS , it is responsibility to understand it and look for durable solution ..
this issue can't be solved over nightly and it will take minimum 5 to 10 years to completely quash the insurgency and win all balochs in PAKISTAN,s favor , if a pilot plan is followed properly and all rightful grievances are addressed ...

well what u are talking is white lie and ur indian tailored story ..... here such biased and irrational stories need to be avoided ...

During British time Balochistan was divided into 4 princely states, 3 joined Pakistan after independence, fourth and the largest "Kalat" wanted to be independent but forced to join Pakistan 9 months after independence. .

Indirectly what do u want to convey to the readers that "khans of kalat" were forced by pakistani army or by the others sardars who were pro-pakistanis?

Don't blame us or other foriegn agencies for your own deeds......Since 1947 you have been neglecting other ethnic groups in your country except Punjabi's and this is the outcome of that negligence...
Over 30 training camps in Afghanistan fuelling Balochistan unrest: IG FC

QUETTA: The chief of the paramilitary troops in Balochistan has claimed that billions of rupees were being spent to spread a state of unrest in the insurgency-hit province, DawnNews reported.

Speaking to media representatives at the FC headquarters here on Saturday, Inspector General Frontier Corps Balochistan Major General Obaidullah Khan Khattak said on Saturday that over 30 militant training camps had been set up across the border in Afghanistan to launch terrorist and anti-state activities in Balochistan.

Maj Gen Khattak also claimed that around 121 insurgent training facilities were operating in different parts of the province.

Teachers, doctors and many civilians have fallen prey to target killings, said Khattak adding that over 100,000 people had migrated from the province due to its law and order situation.

About 550 incidents of terrorism have taken place in the province so far this year, out of which several groups have claimed responsibilities of 258 such incidents, he informed the media.

The future of the country is in Balochistan, said Khattak, alleging that foreign powers had their eyes set on the province for the same reason. Moreover, a well-planned conspiracy had been hatched for a propaganda campaign against the FC and intelligence agencies, he added.

The Frontier Corps had recently come under much criticism over its alleged role in forced disappearances and human rights violations in Balochistan. The Supreme Court is also hearing a case on the province’s law and order situation.

The IG FC’s comments come after a hearing on Friday in which a bench of apex court judges, headed by the chief justice, assailed the FC and described the recent killing of three people whose whereabouts were being sought by the court as a chilling reminder to it.

“We are aware that lives of law enforcement personnel were also being lost, however that does not empower anyone to take the law into their own hands,” one of the judges had remarked during the hearing.

Balochistan, Pakistan’s largest province by area, has been the centre of a violent insurgency by nationalist activists and militant groups.

The Pakistani prime minister on Saturday called for new legislation for the recovery of ‘missing persons’ in the province. PM Gilani is also expected to start a tour of Quetta, the provincial capital, from Sunday.

Earlier on Tuesday, another high-level meeting attended by the prime minister, army chief Kayani, ISI head DG-ISI Lt Gen Zaheerul Islam, and Balochistan Chief Minister Raisani had decided to initiate dialogue with the Baloch leadership and discontented nationalist parties in the province.

Balochistan is the poorest province of Pakistan and people blame other provinces to exploit their natural resources. .

balochistan is not developed province like sindh and punjab ,does not mean baloch and other people are poor .

Some 2000 people from 7000000 baloch population.

These 2000 are supported by anti Pakistan intelligence agencies like mastbalochi mentioned in post # 3.

balochistan is the largest in area but less in population .most of the baloch live in other part of pakistan ..bugti's relatives live in karachi ...
