Why not do some social service and join PM's Swachh Bharat campaign? Why not open some schools? Why not install a computer with internet in every village.
What will villagers do with those idols? Is this Hinduism? Bajrang Dal and VHP are 2 of the most useless Hindu organizations in India today.

rss is one of the largest social service organisation in the country, you don't get to hear this side of sangh in the daily news..

for example Vidya barathi under rss operate nearly 12000 schools across the country..with 31lakh students enrolled in them..

Aamna Ji, You can't tell religious movements how to spend their funds. If a Church wants to build statutes of the Virgin Mary, that remains their right. If a Masjid wants to build a madressah to promote Islamic education, that remains their right. If a temple wants to build Hanuman idols, that remains their right. If religious movements took on the role of government, why do we pay taxes ?

You are absolutely correct...except or the fact that it is also well within Amna's right to tell the organization what s/he thinks....whether the organizations follow his/her instructions is a different issue...religious movements/funds/foundations are usually exempt from paying a lot of taxes...which means Amna and his/her parents are paying for the road Bajrang Dal will use to transport the cement to build their idols....all religious organizations should be taxed like any other corporation!

Even I didn't, until I saw how brazenly congress took an anti-hindu stand and allowed missionaries to establish there bases and convert poor hindus with impuntiy... u people made a huge cry on gharwapsi , while were completely silent on conversions by missionaries ? why such a hypocrisy ? you still didn't answer my ques , rss branch of seva barathi is taking care of lot of orphans allover India, what did congress do ? other than looting the country and selling it to vatican ?

Yes it is Hinduism,any doubts?
You dont understand how these movements galvanize and unite hindus across India.
Villagers will pray to these idols and they act as centers of imparting education and cultural values to people.Sammelans or Satsangs(Spiritual Gatherings)
The places where these idols are established generally have a "Akhara" (Gymnasium)attached to them,which teach children and youth Wrestling,Martial arts,Body Building etc.
Also they stress on the importance of quitting vices like Alcohol,Cigarettes,drugs and concentrate well on their life,the importance of Bachelorhood and how you shape your destiny.

Do you even know what social service VHP and other orgs do?They are popular and find support for a reason, What you know about them, is what the media has fed you their propaganda,carry on with your myopia, we are not bothered .
We are only concerned about the Unity and inculcating good values in Hindus.

Comprehensions is a problem with you , isint it? congress is a political party . the rss is not. (social org) now see the difference?
and no one can stop people from doing anything here in India, (churches , temples, mosques all can be built) just like no one is stopping the rss to do seva for the poor and marginalized.
