No, manpower income is included in the term GNI (gross national income figures). Anyway, put this income whatever way you want, it is a national income.

And like I said that is not GDP...and is not an export (sure its an income/consumption source).

An export is something you produce within your country and someone outside purchases. It does not apply to citizens earning income outside the country.

Hence why remittance (like all income from abroad) is included in current account balance but not balance of trade (be it merchandise, services or total).

I think that we will see the following fighter aircraft in BAF inventory by 2021:

1/ 16 SU-30SME
2/ 32 J-10C - customised BD version although I would prefer 16 J-10C and 16 Gripen Es.

There is ample funds now in BD with tax receipts going up by at least 20% every year. Cannot wait till next year.

2/ 32 J-10C - customised BD version although I would prefer 16 J-10C and 16 Gripen Es.

There is ample funds now in BD with tax receipts going up by at least 20% every year. Cannot wait till next year.

That's only 3 years man. Doubt it. It would take way more time both in terms of actual delivery and IOC.

There will definitely be a new type no matter what anyone says.

Most likely is the MiG-35.

But like I said in an earlier post, I am concerned no matter what type is eventually bought and inducted.

The people running the show are not likely to be the best and brightest but rather the most loyal.

The reason my extended family left Bangladesh in the mid 70's was because of RAMPANT nepotism and corruption.

I doubt anything has changed.

Swamp needs to be cleaned in Bangladesh too.

Unless that happens its more of the same and ultimately makes irrelevant what is bought.

But we need to remember that only back in 2001 that the BD military inflicted a humiliating defeat when India tried to intrude into BD territory. Hasina was the PM then.

Neither of us live in BD and so we are looking at things from the outside and so may not have the most accurate view of BD politics.
