Yes but BD has higher GDP growth rate and forecast to stay this way for the rest of the decade.

Defence budget will rise from x2 to x2.5 by 2030 at current rates.

Myanmar has very large army and is always fighting rebels and this takes up a lot of money.

Myanmar wastes money by buying lots of different equipment - as an example they buy Mig-29, JF-17 and SU-30SM fighters for such small air-force!

BD takes it time and looks at commonality before buying.
