What will long range MLRS be used for in a conflict with Armenia? Will it take out Armenian army, and air bases?
when will we have SU-30SM? did we order it?Azerbaijan has some of the biggest MLRS numbers in the world because during peace time most of the equipment is kept inside the military bases, massive surprise strike can give Azerbaijan a big advantage from the first day. With future delivery of Su-30SM, air bases are also very real targets, but most likely will be dealt with SOM cruise missiles.
He is saying that Armenia will have it soon... They ordered 4 of them.when will we have SU-30SM? did we order it?
if you consider Nakhchivan, you can see that Erevan, the capitol of Armenia is only 3-5 km away from Azerbaijani border... also those s300 and others could be bombarded easily... Armenian cannot fight in all those fronts.. even the local people are scared of Azeri soldiers, they dont want a war... it is not 1990s when we didnt even have bullets to shoot. He is saying that Armenia will have it soon... They ordered 4 of them.
IMO, when conflict starts the airbases should be bombarded when Polonez and Extra MRLs to establish air superiority ASAP.
Azerbaijan also had TOT with Turkey for 40km range tr rockets. hundreds of them has been purchaed, even the Turkish version of TR300 with 120-150km... those will finish the work easily... the rest of the missiles over that range is actually purchased against Russia or Iran to make them think twice before joining the war.. it is obvious that Azerbaijan cannot fight them, but they at list have the capability to hurt them back..This is the concept I was going for...

It would use LYNX (21KM, 45 KM, and 160 KM) system
It would also use Polonez (200 KM)
Does anyone know if Azerbaijan is acquiring UCAVs? In theory If Azerbaijan could carry out successful SEAD of high altitude SAMs, and aircraft in Armenian aircraft these UCAVs could operate unopposed.
