seems the deal was made back in 2013, Azerbaijan was also interested in CJ-27 Spartan, so we could possibly see Spartans in some time. Since the Air Force purchased new training aircraft, it would only make sense that either new fighter jets were bought or Air Force is still looking for new fighters.

in 2014, Azerbaijan was included in the list of potential future customers of Eurofighter,

Air Force is also looking to upgrade MIG-29s, and turn it into a true multi-role fighter with integration of Aselsan Pod and SOM cruise missiles, both of which Azerbaijan is interested in, SU-25s will also be upgraded but there are limits to extending their capabilities. In the future, Air Force can potentially become a very potent force in the region.

- Azerbaijan will solely and insistently work with Aselsan on E/O, Cyrpto and communication solutions, even though a well-know western company had insisted on it . Because Azerbaijan does solely trust Turkey.

- Tufan is ready to produce dependent on the request, open to any adjustments like engine, The unmanned weapon station on the tufan is indigenous.

- the aim in long term is Nato standart in the army.

suicide drones are designed to be cost efficient and can operate at ranges of 50kms or more, so no they are not useless, specially in swarms.

How much will one cost? What will be their main use in the field? Taking out fortified position? Knocking out tanks?

haven't found a single source for the price, Azerbaijan has 2 types of suicide drones, IAI Harpy for long range specified targets, such as SAMs, Radars and etc. and Orbiter 1K for short range fire support.

Orbiter 1K has different types of warheads, so yes it can deal with different types of targets.

Drones are slow targets, and usually easy to take down by a prepared enemy, swarms prevent that

On the second day of the exhibition, four memorandums were signed between Azerbaijan’s defense industry enterprises (the ministry’s Scientific-Research Institute, Cihaz and Optika-Mexanika production units) and Turkey’s ASELSAN.
The memorandums envisage the production of various devices and weapon systems jointly with ASELSAN.
Minister Jamalov noted that the Defense Industry Ministry and Turkish company Otakar, engaged in manufacturing military equipment, reached an agreement on the production and repair of armored vehicles in Azerbaijan.
Within the framework of the exhibition, Vestel Savunma and AYESAŞ companies of Turkey held a presentation for representatives of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. Information was given about the projects implemented by AYESAŞ, a venture of ZORLU Group, in the aviation sector in Turkey and NATO.
The Azerbaijani delegation also held a meeting with leaders of ASELSAN and ROKETSAN companies, during which the current and future projects were discussed.
In addition, a brief presentation of Mi-17 helicopter, which belongs to Azerbaijan’s Air Force and was modernized by ASELSAN, was held as part of the exhibition.

Any idea what will be bought from Otokar? Since Azerbaijan now produces their own Tufan I dont see a lot that Otokar could offer?

Azerbaijan has been producing MRAPs in the class of Tufan for nearly a decade now, it can either be a smaller APC such as Cobra 1 or 2, or bigger APC such as Arma 8x8, Azerbaijan is already testing Mbombe 6x6, so don't see a need for Arma 6x6, it could possibly even be Tulpar, but Azerbaijan would have engine problems there, but has hundreds of BMPs to replace.
