Regardless of what we think about MQM, Altaf Hussain is still the leader of a party with representation in the Assembly. Until the courts declare MQM a terrorist organization, the Speaker and government is bound to treat MQM as innocent.

Most of the top leadership of Rabita Committee endorses Altaf Hussain speech. If speaker of the house is talking to this asshole while Ch Nisar is trying to fool the nation by saying we are preparing cases against him, i believe nothing will happen to his loyalist in NA. It is abundantly clear that the ruling party and the likes of Diesel are there to support this terrorist against Pakistan and its institutions army and Rangers

I beg to disagree. The guy has openly asked for foreign invasion, MQM endorses this opinion, and yet we oppose aggressive stand against such terrorism? Whether they become martyrs or not is something public has to decide but its the government's duty to make sure that he is labelled as a terrorist and a traitor and should be dealt in similar manner. Anything less in itself is treacherous so to say and will raise alot of eyebrows specially in the military circle who are watching this development very closely.

Mushy is history, gone for good or bad but he is done. Does that means since he has done it so does everybody else? Reality is that Altaf is a traitor and a terrorist and should be dealt with in a similar manner like we deal with TTP. Its the governments job to defend the institutions of this country that are laying their lives for our tomorrow, yet one a speaker of the house calls and request Altaf (which they certainly dont need too as MQM does not had the majority to get the motion passed without PPP and PML backing) this gives wrong signal to whoever wants to stand up and ridicule Pakistan and its institutions.

ISLAMABAD: Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Wednesday requested the chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Altaf Hussain to withdraw motion aimed at de-seating Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, ARY News reported.

According to details, Ayaz Sadiq telephoned Altaf Hussain and requested the MQM chief to withdraw motion against PTI, so that an air of reconciliation could evolve in the assembly and the way of confrontation could be abandoned.

He praised the role of MQM for democracy, while Altaf Hussain sought some time to discuss the matter with party members.

The MQM chief said his party believes in the supremacy of the constitution and the law, and will demonstrate foresightedness on this matter too.
