Axis of Evil together with Russia could be a force to be reckoned with against US sanctions

Evil... :coffee:

@senheiser

There is nothing interesting in north korea & Cuba or Zimbabwe for Iran & Russia!

Do you know why USA isn't worry about North Korea!?

Because the leadership isolated the country by themselves!

They can't develop in such a situation...

But Iran & Russia are different cases...

We can kick their butts if they bother us !

This is why they use sanctions to stop us ...

Iran would get rolled over by a mullah riding a WW1 tank.

The flow and influence of religions is as communicative as humanity itself, remember, folks, we , as a species, are a social bunch. Judaism, the progenitor of all other Abrahamic faiths such as Christianity and Islam, was in turn influenced by Eastern religions. When Israel was conquered by the Babylonians, and then by the Persians, the Hebrew people where influenced by Zoroastrianism, to which some religious festivals and rituals, as well as in theology, too. Zoroastrianism was the only other religion of its time (approx 1700-1000 BCE) to believe in a single omniscient and supreme being besides Judaism; at a time that the Hebrew tribes were still forming their beliefs. Those beliefs had an opportunity to influence one another in the sixth century, BCE, when the tribe of Judah was exiled to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar (hanging gardens' fame), where their leading citizen, Daniel (of the Lion's Den Fame) interacted with the Zoroastrian king of Anshan (Iran), Cambyses I, his son, Cyrus the Great and Cyrus' successor, Darius the Great.
It was at that time, when the first ten books of the Bible were being transcribed from the tribe's oral history to text, that many Zoroastrian precepts were thought to have entered the belief systems of the tribe of Judah in Babylon. As specified above, Zoroastrianism is thought to have greatly influenced Judaism, specifically through the prophet Daniel's close association with the Achaeamenid kings (Cambyses I, Cyrus the Great, Cambyses II and Darius the Great).
Wait ...it is not right to call Zoroastrianism as a monotheistic religion. I know some people do so, but they are completely wrong. Talk with Zoroastrians themselves and they would tell you that there exist two supreme being, Ahura Mazda(The god of good stuff), and Ahriman(The god of bad stuff). Zoroastrianism is based on two gods, but suggests people to get close to the good god, instead of the bad god, and also other smaller bad gods(demons(pagan gods)). Zoroastrianism is based on duality not monotheism.

Yes, you're right that there's a duality in Zoroastrianism. One can even say that the concept of the Devil (Satan/ Shaitan) arose from this?

Well, basically, in those times, there was polytheistic system. Every religion which reached to power, or found popularity, started to call other religions gods, or some of the older known gods as devils. It is the same for Zoroastrianism. The concept of Satan is different between Christianity and Zoroastrianism in the sense that christianity does not consider satan as a god, and he is just a rebellious angle, while in Zoroastrianism, satan is considered as a separate god.

Thanks for the clarification on the duality of God the Zoroastrian faith. I had thought that there was always a devil-like figure in Zoroastrianism. Can you explain more on the concept of fire and its importance in this faith?

fire is not exactly worshiped, but it is considered as a pure being, which can cleanse people. It is present in every single Zoroastrian tradition.
