Can you provide the name of the company which was referred in point 4 or the Court Case number and year. As that might be helpful.

In India Right to Freedom of Speech has been enshrines under Article 19(3) of the constitution... This right is available to every citizen and alien too.
The case he is referring to relates to Sec-66A of the IT Act, which recently has been held unconstitutional by the SC. This provision enabled the Govt to pull up anyone for his/her views which the Govt might find unreasonable.... Search on google about Sec-66A and you will find all the Indian case references....
Personally IMO the Webmaster has three defences available to him which are provided to him by the Defamation Ordinance No. LVI of 2002 ....

i.e the Defence no 1, 2 or 3(Apology to the plaintiff)....
Now I don't know much about Pakistan's Internet laws(I was not able to find them) but assuming that Pakistan also has Freedom of Speech this is going to be win for the Webmaster though it may end up being a costly affair too...

Note : The minimum penalty that the webmaster can expect is PKR 300,000...

A couple of hours ago all threads about Axact were gone from the forum so I assumed it was a response to a threat. I was correct about that and its also correct to assume that Axact is involved in these scams.

Defamation cases are notoriously hard to prove. Since the thread on defence.pk is actually a statement made by the NY Times, this forum cannot be held responsible for their words in any court. Sharing someone else's public statement is not a crime. These wankers are just paper thugs with empty threats. If it was me, I'd say: Come at me Bro!
