Serving notice via email to an ID that does not specify that it belongs to a particular individual ....................... does it even stand the legal ground to be legally valid?

Any how if it does than most appropriate and sane thing to do would be reply in writing. I am sure there is nothing wrong that can be proved and blamed on management of PDF.

If such notice is issued to Pakistan Defence,than verily they must issue it to FB,Google,Twitter etc for sharing,uploading,investigating and discussing their scams!

Please stop worrying about that notice, which was totally frivolous and born of feigned indignation and not much else.

BCCI bank of Pak was destroyed in same manner so until something is proved against Axact as a company we should seal our mouths. Because it is a doubt ful thing that more than 2000 employees all knew abt fraud and were involved in fraud in collaboration with US unaccredited fake Unis and even FBI got this info after a long time. Perhaps considering owners IT background and as per newspapers he also served in the past for some sensitive institutions of Pak. Similarly GEO known to be backed by Intl forces was also facing threats from Bol channel. So there may be some conspiracy in this case. Only ARY news gave point of view of Mr Shakeel Sheikh.

You are in the US, file a counter lawsuit and ask for damages and defamation related recoverables in return. Also identify in your case that the plaintiff in this case, is under an international investigation for a multinational fraud substantiated by different governments, the Interpol and the FBI.
I'd like to see who would like to fly to the US and show up in our justice system. These fraudulent idiots are being investigated in the US I believe as well. I think the court would throw it out or fine them back. Worst case, you made their attorneys take a few expensive or wasted trips to the US, that is if they have can pursue at this point with their executives already in custody across the globe.

@WebMaster that legal notice is not worth the paper it's written on. Don't worry about it, it's non enforceable because the company in question is full of "cow dung" and those lawyers are as authentic as the masters degrees peddled by their client.

Defence Pk is not a news agency and is just a platform for social networking / discussion. The article referred in the legal notice has not been written by PDF. It is the original article which has been reproduced for discussion among forum members. Therefore, validity of this legal notice is questionable. However, it is advisable to discuss it with some lawyer and write an appropriate response.
