Aussie media lobbies for uranium for India

LOL LOL LOL

India is the one keep begging and nagging Australia for Uranium !!!!

You Indians are so funny. LOL
Pushing by Lobbying and Begging are two seprate ways to get what you want.....i know you wont understand that because of two reasons...

1} You don't belong to th land of Chanakya...

2}Your Govt knows only one way to get what they want to get...and i don't think i need to disclose that open truth

Hafizzz, Let me try and explain in simple terms.

1. India is not short of Uranium as it has supplies coming from US, Canada and also its own mines.

2. Australia is losing out on export as India is not bothered who is selling as long as it gets the yellow cake.

3. Australian media saying that the country is losing out on an opportunity to make up for lost ground by having a good relation with India.

4. It believes that India has snubbed Australia as the Prime minister of India is not attending a summit that they attach a lot of value to.

Clarity of thought :

1. Irrespective of Indian past and its credibility, the Australian media is lobbying for India.
2. Australian media believe that a good relation with India is paramount.
3. It believes that the current Australian laws in foreign policy towards India is outdated.

"India, the emerging third-biggest economy in the world"?? :what:

Have all Indian media outlets turned into the ToI?

Maybe wait until you get into the top five largest economies first, or surpass Brazil.

Ever heard of something called PPP or you don't read news other than those from your old links.

well no disrespect to pakistan & pakistanies but why most of you guys think that relation ship between to nations has to be based on begging & nagging & not based on mutual benefit (profit) & respect , Thanks .

Everyone is crawling to woo India for their interest and we are choosers.

Australia have biggest reserves + they are close to India so transportation will be easy and economical not to forget it's safe route within Indian navy's influence.

India is getting free Uranium from Afghanistan, what is the point in this drama?

Don't expect such thing to be reported!! and BTW.. who will report it? is Afghanistan open for world press?

So does Afghans need it for the same reasons... and stealing is never fair.

10 years of stealing!! i think enough is enough and their shall be audit of every activity being carried out in Afghanistan by foreigners.

You Pakistanis are so one dimensional. The world through Pakistan's eyes- Pakistan,India,Afghanistan,US,China.

The world is MUCH bigger and more complicated than that.

And anyway this feels like politics to me, anti-Labour people in Australia trying to discredit all GOVT policies. Australia is trying to be relevant in the new world and it just isn't. The anti-Indian beatings in Australia showed the true side of the Australian people and GOVT, it shall not be forgotten.

India can afford to be friends/enemies with whomever she likes, Australia doesn't have that luxury and she has likely missed the boat for closer relations with India. very poor diplomacy and foresight on Australian side I must say.
