Audi AG expresses intent to assemble vehicles in Pakistan

My dad had drive Benz, Audi and BMW, he told me that Audi has more grip on road than the two others and he found Audi better than BMW and Benz.

I would prefer it over a mehran which has ruined the image perspective of Pakistan.I just hope they don't sell it at a ridiculous price.

The price is determined by government taxes.

Yes Audi top record speed in India is 332.2 Km/Hour and show car has some confidence on driver compared to others

Thank you for the Tag. I am an avid Audi + Mercedes fan myself and have owned these two all my life. You should try looking at this. I enjoy driving this puppy!

The government should know that nobody wants to pay 5000$ for a suzuki mehran,6000$ for a civic 95,etc. If those cars are at that price then just imagine how expensive audi will be.

The government knows it, but they do want the revenue from taxing cars as luxury items.

We desperately need replacement for Pak Suzuki garbage financially ripping of the nation...VW , AUDI, BMW, Mercedes all need to enter the Pakistani market..and the CPEC makes the potential even more worth while...as production can be forward exported to rich central Asian countries

Very poor level of automation in a factory such as BMW India clearly defines the actual reason..ultra cheap labour..

Any car would be better than a Mehran :p:

Mehran should be featured as our national hall of shame!

Ford are not reliable and Americans prefer Honda over them.

These days all cars are modular with upto 80% components being sourced from independent vendors..A Japanese car and German car has the same air conditioner, brake, safety system, differential, blah blah..

In my practical experience of owning many vehicles, almost all cars are more or less same level of reliability and cost the same to fix when they break...unless they have some non standard engineering as in the case of French...even the Renault is pretty rock solid reliable..

I have driven all three. I think BMW has more grip..

Grip is also a question of driving surface, tyres and suspension tuning...unless all vehicles were driven over the same track by same person and driving conditions, it is difficult to rate the drip in such arbitrary manner..
