Arabs and Turks castrated their African male slaves as a way to ensure their slaves didnt rape their wives or concubines since many slaves were made to work in harems and palaces, and homes of wealthy and even ordinary owners, doing household chores like cleaning and cooking, and thus they could not reproduce which is why you dont see that many African slave descendants today in the Muslim world. Male slaves in the Islamic world were forbidden from reproducing even with female slaves, there were a few exceptional cases but this was the case for the most part. Though, you can still find pockets of communities descended from African slaves within Iraq, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and other countries throughout the Muslim world.

Secondly, the reason why you dont know about the spoils and contributions of African slavery in the Islamic world is because unlike the Europeans, Muslims didnt document the results of the labor of black slaves or for what these slaves were utilized for for the most part.

Slavery has always been a big part of Middle Eastern culture and society, to deny the role of Muslims in enslaving and colonization of non-Muslims is to be a hypocrite and a liar.
