Attacked Pakistani prisoner is brain dead, say Indian doctors

So It came down to comparing medical facilities now.

Actual topic being ignored. That State Sponsored TERRORIST is made hero. Even Though he was on death row he was alive for 11 Years.

All these kind of prisoner should be hanged in PUBLIC to make lesson out of them.

It was nice to see that Indian have shown their asal oukat by killing an innocent man as a revenge of convicted STATE SPONSORED TERRORIST. Keep up Indians............

The building is not even painted... You can imagine how cool these facilities might be. At least we took Singh to Jinnah hospital, one of the top tier hospitals.

Even if this attack was not perpetuated by the Indian government, it should have done more, it was seen lazy.

This picture has been taken in Jammu. A look at what the Cop on the extreme left top of the picture is wearing on his chest above his name plate brings this out.

Chandigarh Police does not wear this.

Why is everyone fretting so much.

.

yet he could not be saved ..:coffee:

The Pakistani ambassador to India after his visit to Mr Sanaullah told GEO that his brain activity is nil, he is brain dead, only alive through ventilator and doctors are not too optimistic about his chances of survival.

You would be very surprised to know that a majority of the government hospitals are in such conditions - unpainted and not looking modern.

But donot be fooled by the looks. These hospitals are leading edge medical centers and rank one of the best in Asia and certainly the highest in South Asia.

The government just does not spend like it should. The medical machines and the doctors inside however are the very best you will ever find in South Asia.

I have a feeling that they are waiting for his family to see him alive for last time and then decide on removing the ventilator support...... Very sad incident

Condition of Pakistani prisoner Sanaullah 'worsens'

CHANDIGARH: The condition of Pakistani prisoner Sanaullah Ranjay, injured in a scuffle with another inmate in a Jammu jail, has worsened, according to NDTV.

Quoting doctors at PGIMER, the news channel reported, 'Sanaullah's condition appears more critical today than yesterday.'

Earlier in the day, Pakistan high commissioner Salman Bashir visited Sanaullah here and said chances of his survival seemed "bleak".

Advising both countries to maintain restraint and not create hype, he said the doctors at the hospital were trying their best to save him. "However, the prognosis is weak," he told reporters after meeting the Pakistani prisoner.

"The condition (of Sanaullah Ranjay) is critical...the outcome is bleak," he said.

Demanding an impartial probe into the attack on Sanaullah, Bashir said, "We want him to be repatriated to Pakistan."

He said the government was working on facilitating Sanaullah's family to visit him at the PGIMER.

The high commissioner, along with other officials, visited the patient and inquired about his health condition from the doctors attending on him.

"When the patient was brought here, he was in bad shape," he said.

Meanwhile, medical bulletin of the institute said, "His metabolic parameters are now settling. The arterial blood gases are satisfactorily maintained on moderate oxygen flow. He continues to be on ventilator. His blood pressure continues to be maintained with three inotropic drugs."

A heavy deployment of police personnel is in place around and inside the PGIMER to prevent any eventuality.

52-year-old Sanaullah, a resident of Sialkot in Pakistan, is serving a life term after being convicted under TADA provisions following his arrest in 1999.

He was injured during a scuffle in high-security Kot Balwal jail in Jammu and was immediately shifted to Government Medical College Hospital and later rushed to PGIMER here in an air ambulance after doctors said his condition was critical.

The assault came a day after the death of Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh, who was brutally attacked by six inmates in Lahore's Kot Lakhpat jail.
