Looks like some people--led by Americans and the Brits--want to always bomb someone. "Bomb, bomb, bomb'. I guess one cruise missile costs a lot. Say $1 million/pop? So that filters down to food on the table for range of people. Nice business.

No matter how bad Qaddafi was/is he is/was still the legit ruler of Libya. That was a fact a few weeks ago. I see no evidence that the majority of the Libyans are against him. Even if 49.99% against him he would still be just as 'legit' as G.W.Bush was in 2000 against Gore.

I really wish he had left on his own but that does not give the right to anyone to intervene. Arab League has no legal basis. Nor does the UN. Five Abstensions. Criminal by China and Russia. What do they get in return? History read that. That is not legit.

Obama: You have no right to say that Qaddafi 'lost legitimacy'. It is for the Libyans to decide. Shame on you, Obama!

Looks like an over-whelming majority of the liberals in America too condemn this attack. So do I--a proud liberal. We don't want wars anymore. However bad Qaddafi was I think he has more support than Hosni Mubarak--who America did try to protect until the fait accompli reached. Similarly, America refuses to backup the protestors in Bahrain. It is not even double-standards. It is like multiple standards.

This is the Information Age. We can at least see the inconsistencies. And I am sorry to say, Mr. Obama, you are just a more polished, eloquent version of the same corporate-cracy which selected G.W.Bush. Some 'change' I can no longer believe in.

We don't want war anymore. Not against anyone. No more weapons testing. No more shifting goal-posts. First it was about preventing air-strikes. Next it became stopping even the ground offensive.

China is not the country killing Libyan people!

BTW Muammar Gaddafi is never China's friend or ally. Said he once handed in Chinese nuclear tech papers he somehow got from Pakistan to US in order to cater Washington. And China has been not happy with his 'business' with Taiwan for long time.
