Libya does not have any SAM that can shoot down long-ranged smart munitions lobbed from F-22, B-2, F-1x ...so there is no hope.

According to CNN, Libya have SAMS- S-125, SA-2, S-200. No idea if it is true.

There's no way China, with the current numbers of high-tech equipment deployed in the PLA, could take on all European nations simultaneously.

China may have more advanced and destructive weapons, but we would be seriously outnumbered.

And if the US joins them, we will lose both technological superiority and numerical superiority.

According to CNN, Libya have SAMS- S-125, SA-2, S-200. No idea if it is true.

Those SAMs are not capable of shooting down Tomahawk, JASSM, JSOW, JDAM, SDB; the upgraded SA-3 is capable but I do not know if Libya has them or not.

maybe it was carrying A2G bombs and after dropping them it got shot down (and i really don't see anything funny, people could have died where that plane crashed).

Both USSR and USA supported the KMT regime until about 1948 when the USSR bet on the winning horse and supported the CPC. Both USA and USSR were great friends of Chiang Kai Shek. Chiang Ching Kuo, Chiang Kai Shek's son, studied in the USSR and even married a Russian. The officer corps of the KMT was heavily Soviet influenced and trained. USA's help to KMT was obvious. Almost all their weapons were made in USA.

Well, we all know this is history, and we all know the result, and we all know which party is the one in the mainland and which is hiding on an insignificant island. Not even 2 superpowers and a mafia regime could stop the will of the Chinese people.

Unfortunately, the military balance between Libya and USA is far too great. Arabs were never known for achievements in either science or sports, they've gotten lazy from the oil wealth, and their technology might as well be stone age.
