No. If T129s are to be sold to Pakistan, it will be with TS-1400 and Turkish-made gearbox, not with an Italian-made gearbox and an American engine. And the first deliveries in 2026. Because the Gökbey helicopter will be delivered in the first that year (2026) with a Turkish-made gearbox and mass-produced TS-1400 engines installed.

If USA had given permission, İsmail Demir would have emphasized this. Their deliveries would not reach 2026 either.

Already have it. ATAK wouldve been so useful, especially during operations involving both military and paramilitary. Could save a lot of lives and resources.

whos celebrating, this isnt new, turkey has been pushing their domestic engine on paa for a while, itll be a long and drawn out evaluation process, ill be very surprised if Turkeys engine can perform, our operational environment is so harsh, the worlds most experienced fail.
