China government strictly control gun fire, even to policeman. So the police in China afraid of using guns to Chinese folks:

1. If a China policeman shoot a wrong ppl, he will get pressures from local media & China media will using such case to attack local government, the police system will suspend the policeman or kick him out. If he shoot someone to dealth, the policeman will sentenced to jail.
2. If a China policeman lost the gun, he also will get punishment or into jail.
3. Except SWAT and China Armed Police, most China policeman doesn't get pistols, usually one policestation only has 4~5x pistols locked in strongbox all days.

China policeman more looks like a security guard on the street, but they can call for SWAT.
