The sanitization of Lal Masjid to make it free from the Jihadi vermins was one of the very few good thing the tinpot dictator did in his entire life. he has been consistent

he is against all army operations against the people of Pakistan. even the TTP
right or wrong but he is consistent

he has tentatively started to support or suggest sirgical strikes and commando operations against the hardcore terrorists but remains against the big level military deployment and large scale operations like Swat and tribal areas.
