I don't know who invented Batik first.
But our culture from South Tibet to South China to Indonesia are look alike.
But thru time, the highest accomplishment of Batik, popularity, and widely recognized by the world is coming from Java.
That is why the name of Batik is taken from Java.
I think the most important think of all, we all are the same people.
