In Turkey, Aselsan will configure the pod for the receiving platform – i.e. the JF-17 Thunder. This would include work on the ASELPOD’s software and communications equipment, to ensure that the system works with the native systems onboard the JF-17. Meanwhile, Pakistan will produce the external pylon or hard-point that will be used for the ASELPOD.
It is not for JF-17's these are for the 16 F-16's purchased from Jordan that are going through MLU.

If it was for JF -17 then the numbers would be lower because these would be tested on the test aircraft and then proceed to new JF-17 block. Once certified for incorporation on the JF-17 then the minimum number would be 50 which would slowly be increased for the older J-17 blocks.

@Windjammer, @Bilal Khan (Quwa) Sir, do you have any updates one this?

They're for the JF-17. @Bilal Khan 777 was the first to 'suggest' that the ASELPOD could happen.

So there will be a change in hard points in jf 17 in block three. Aselsan TP will be very effective and block three is going to be a beast. With Aesa and Aselpod there will be a change in shape of nose not round and addition of a hardpoint or minor change in structure lije eurofighter placed its pod in front of canopy may be something like that. Will i can't wait for its induction.

No sir surely they are for upcoming block of jft. By the way when are those Jordanians f16 going to be inducted after MLU.? Means are they still in Turkey?
