Asad Umar: Malaysia interested in procuring JF-17 Thunder from Pakistan

F-22 price tag is 10 times jf-17 and carries half the pay load of 1 jf-17 so who is better?

Once out of amo f-22 can only run home. USA made a strategic mistake which it once made in Vietnam with F-4.
but a single F--22 Raptor can handle a whole squadran of jft with easily....
Yar raat ziada hogya ha behas na krna thka howa hoon subh samjhadon ga k kasa F-22 Raptor Aesa kr sakta hsi.

Bro, stop. You do not know anything about aircraft (and not much about computing technologies either).

F-22A Raptor is so far ahead of JF-17 Thunder in almost any area that a comparison between the two is insulting for both classes.

Payload capacity of F-22A Raptor is 15000 KG. In comparison, payload capacity of SU-35S is 8000 KG (and SU-35S is a premium Russian fighter Jet).

Since when is Vietnam a valid analogue for modern warfare? F-14, F-15 and F-16 came after Vietnam War (lessons of past conflicts taken in full account). F-22A is so far ahead of these as well.

A single F22 can only handle jets according to the number of missile it can carry in its internal bay after that how will it kill with spoons?

.
6 countries in talks for block 3 currently. This is confirm news.

There can also be a NATO compatibility version via turkey France and Italy. Companies also showed interest in it.

Yaara, naam tu batao. suspense ki kiya zarorat hai?

Don't know the names just heard gossip that 6 nations were very interested in JF-17. Iran Iraq Malaysia Nigeria are for sure don't know about the rest.

Interested is even Bulgaria, this is why western suppliers are making their pitches.

With France wanting to work in defence aviation with Pakistan and Italy already onboard and UK also ready to work then you can have high end JFT with full NATO standard and compatibility for US & EU allies which need low cost work horse compared to high end F-15/18s/ EFT, Rafale.
JF-17 for EU countries with NATO STANDARD aircraft would really make USA MAD.
A few days back there was an article where the The German Air Force was searching for new aircraft to replace their Tornado's. As far as Germany is concerned they do not want the F-35 not because they can not afford it but because they have already opted to make European 5th Gen Aircraft with France. They could also collaborate with UK or Turkey but these aircraft will be too late for replacing the Tornado's.

Looking at these concerns the German Air Force requested for EFT but the issue with that is they are not qualified (Certified) for a nuclear strike. This certification is in the hands of USA as they have to integrate their nuclear weapons. Some Experts are saying that USA will not allow EFT to get this Certification as they will potentially lose future F-35 orders. France and UK could potentially provide Germany and other European NATO members a Nuclear umbrella by allowing their nuclear arsenal certification. But this too requires USA to certify the aircraft as the components in these missiles are also of US origin. This is the reason why France has taken drastic measures to upgrade the chips and other components that are US by their own.

What is your say in this regard?

JF-17 is already high end just needs NATO compatible suite and domestic Chinese engines to start sales in Europe.
Euro Jet 200 is available from UK.
Snecma M-88 is available from France.
Ukraine could also provide them with Engines.

All these engines by pass Russia and China and are domestic products of European Union Member States. So if any NATO member wishes to procure JF-17 they will only take the fuselage (Bare Frame) add any engine from one of these countries add any other system designed for EFT /GRIPEN/ RAFALE and they have a high end low cost aircraft.

Jf-17 is a very mouth watering option because of it being multi role, low price, low operational cost and versatility of weapons. Plus advance avionics, data link option, mission control in air via jf-17 B. Air to air refueling provides it very high air time. Modular design reduces maintenance cost and time. Sorties turn around time is very low, same jet can be back in air with in no time. So these all things JF-17 a war work horse.
