Asad Umar is still the Finance Minister.

So according to the just issued publication from the Cabinet division Asad Umar is still the finance Minister and not whatever everyone else is claiming.
You can check the rest of the cabinet with new special assistant's on their website, as that image was to big to be uploaded here and in my personal opinion he'll remain Finance Minister.

It's my personal opinion that this whole exercise was done to show that their is no alternative to Asad Umar and to warn many people inside the party, who thought of themselves as the ultimate power.
And I would want him to continue as Finance Minister. His policies are all that is needed for the country to get on a sustainable growth path.

Had he been able person ,he would have introduced reforms till now.

it is the bureaucracy that is creating problems in naya Pakistan. Till now , no any bureaucrat has been sacked or jailed on corruption case.

it is the bureaucracy that is creating problems in naya Pakistan. Till now , no any bureaucrat has been sacked or jailed on corruption case.

Babus are the really problem in this country, they don't listen....and the strongest of them all is PAS.....DCs, DCOs wont listen to anything they are too busy in their own shitty world and photo sessions for the Facebook pages....
FBR is different ball game.....director level are protecting their own......I cannot say things out here in detail but someone who wanted to stay off the radar requested his friend - a director at FBR to assist him in fiiling of the Tax Returns....the Director then sent him to FBR Inspector to complete the task......imagine tax returns being filed by Inspector himself to assist the people in staying off the radar.....this is what FBR is, how can they get people to pay taxes when they themselves are still involved in corrupt practics....

Many bureaucrats were poor before becoming the part of bureaucracy . Unfortunately no one is asking from them source of income.

Even the judges of FBR are becoming rich day by day.

No. I don't think that now he can continue as a Finance Minister. What PTI is trying is to convince him to remain part of the cabinet, with some other appropriate portfolio.

1:Bring land reforms .... computerize land records for municipal and land tax . ( According to my rough estimation Pakistan can collect 5 billon dollars annual land tax) . Now the government is blind who own land how much .

2: introduce one ATM card policy for all bank accounts for asset screening. There must be finger print on ATM machine for transaction., The corrupt goons won't hide their black money in the name of unkowun people . It will also solve the mystery of anonymous bank accounts. After such steps bureaucrats and politicians won't open accounts in the name of their peon , gate keeper , servants etc

3:don't recruit upper staff of FBR through CSS. Give a chance to specialists on the policy of the more you collect tax ,the higher position will you get .

4: introduce INCOME TAX CARD . It must be mandatory for citzens to submit income tax card on opening of bank account. ( Income tax card should have bar code reader mentioned all assets of person .)

5: Give special privileges to traders or rich people whoever give loan to another citzen.

All of these and many more things are in pipeline. 1st priority was to get the economy out of coma and then start the stabilization process. I can also write thousand things I want government to change. It doesn’t work like that.

Asad umar should stop behaving like a child and should take the energy ministry offered to him by imran khan as an alternative which fits his qualifications.
