As US plays off India and China, it risks losing a nuclear-armed ally: Pakistan

@PAKISTANFOREVER If you look at the sources you cited notice they are from before 2015 or the Modi era. You will struggle now to find such articles. Apparently in country of 1.4 billion in less than 5 years magician uttered the magic words "abracadebra" and voila defecation went to zero with country have a toilet on every street corner and poverty? Na there is non. Any starving you see is either those on Holywood diet or illegal Banglas.

On a serious note I do find it remarkable in how the Indian government has grip on it's media and is able to play the narrative xactly in the way it wants to. Then you have international media who now with India seen as bulwark against China ignore or go soft on India. I see even this on BBC which spends lot of energy on Hong Kong but ignores the stories from India.
we're all equally inferior
Sorry. Talk about yourself. If you have inferiorty complex don't drag me down. In my view Pakistani's are SUPERIOR.

This clearly expresses that Trump administration was quite comfortable with Pakistan. As I said before Trump actually was good for Pakistan. His wish to pull out of Pakistan and effectively hand over the keys to Kabul was punch to India.

This effectively amounts to a message if not a so subtle threat to USA brought on by Biden administration showing signs of backing out of the Trump agreed pull out of Afghanistan. We already heard of Trumps secretary of state Blinken making excuses. I guess the era of Pompeo is over. Expect "do more". Expect more disparaging articles on Pakistan in the USA. Expect more political rebuffs to Pakistan.

That is because the US deep state is back in charge. They are undecided and confused right now. Mixed messages, but they have recently been pushed by NATO to remain in Afghanistan. I fully agree that Trump was the best US leader Pakistan dealt with. The Democrat scumbags are unreliable.

I think that during Biden era Pakistan US relations are going to suffer very badly. There will be an atmosphere of mistrust and ugliness. The American diplomatic staff will again be confined in their spying HQ in Islamabad.

The Americans are also paranoid about Pakistani nukes LOL Don't think the Americans will ever leave Pakistan. It all depends on how Pakistan tells the Americans that this relationship is finished. The Americans and their Western counterparts will continue to covertly hurt Pakistan as much as possible.

Rarely mentioned, but let's be under no illusion. The Americans and Western nations are playing a very long and foul game. They are aiding and abetting seperatist and anti-national elements in Pakistan. Thousands of Sindhi, Baloch and Pashtun seperatists are living in exile in many Western capitals. The Westerners are nurturing these elements to spread chaos and bloodshed in Pakistan. Sooner or later Pakistan is going to have to end the suffering. All diplomatic relations with the US will come to a halt. Basically a Cuba like situation.

Absolutely. This just shows us how every country has a establishment. Trump background also is part of the establishment but he was a maverick. A loose cannon and the establishment was in shock when he won. They did everything to undo him. Trump wish to pull of of "endless foreign wars" that suit the pentagon, US military and the attached industrial complex was bitterly opposed. The pentagon did everything to slow his pull out. Had he got his way US would have left Afghanistan within 12 months of his administration. But the pentagon and generals would ive all sort of reasons to avoid this.

If you notice once Trump met Imran Khan White House posture toward Pakistan entirely changed. This is the best period I have seen between US and Pakistan since the 1980s. The body language between Trump/PMIK and Pompeo said it all.

Sadly this is over. We are back to Obama years of being warned, lectured and told to do "more" with blame heaped on Pakistan for everything.

If anything, it probably has got far worst under modi.

At this present moment in time, india is completely aligned with the West so the Western media and governments are very pro-indian. The Western media is also to some extent giving a free pass to indian fake news and propaganda. Make no mistake about it, the West are doing ALL they can to build up india against China. It's only because of indian inferiority and incompetency that they are still so far behind China.

Trump still haunts the US deep state. They want to finish him forever because he will make a comeback in next elections after the Democrats again resort to wars and bloodshed in foreign lands.

The IK government needs to be under no illusion whatsoever. The Biden regime is going to exert maximum pressure. The Biden regime is not fond of Imran Khan. Imran Khan stands for sovereign decisions. The Americans don't like that in Pakistan. The Americans want to be in charge in Pakistan. The Americans are going to do everything in their power to get PPP or PML-N re-elected in Pakistan. We are today in a much worse position than even the Obama years. The Biden team consists of Obama puppets on steroids.

Go to BBC. They actually have a section dedicated to India alone. This section is stuffed with Indians who peddle softy, softy articles that are cherrypicked to make India look good. Even when bad news comes out it will be sugar coated to soften it's impact. Non of the attitude is applicable to Pakistan. Any thing to do with "P" gets the thrashing.

BBC's four pet loves are homosexuals, Indians, Africans and feminists. Muslims are not 'koshur' but Pakistani's are positively evil.

I hope he does. If I was American I would vote for him. His MAGA was about investing in America and giving up these "endless foreign wars".

What these Westerners fail to grasp is that Pakistan is battle hardened. The more they punch Pakistan the tougher Pakistan gets. We are more than ever emboldened. We are in control. We have a strong ally China on our side. This has truly shaken the Americans to the core. The American deep state fully understands how difficult it will be to break China Pakistan relations. Pakistan isn't Yugoslavia that will crumble along ethnic or religious lines. They are trying every way possible, but Pakistan is here to stay. Pakistan has given US/NATO a bloody nose in Afghanistan for two decades. That is no mean feat. The disagreements between Pakistan and the West are very personal.

I disagree with that. Structurally, fundamentally and geographically Pakistan is closer to the West then India. However India's market size, soon to be largest population in the world and need for strategic counter to China has rose India's importance in the West. If you look at the Col War era American ruling elites despised the Indians. You should read transcripts of White House tapes from that era and what they say about Indians. Shocking ...

Anything even REMOTELY bad about Pakistan or anything REMOTELY bad happens that involves or may involve Pakistanis is MASSIVELY amplified by media outlets like the BBC. In their eyes we are the most evil people on the planet as Pakistanis are Conservative Orthodox Muslims that are also pro-Chinese. Conversely, even though india has over 800 million starving, severely malnourished people who defecate in the open each day, the bbc still tries to portray india as a superpower that is fighting against the Chinese whom they regard as evil..............................:disagree:

YES, the bbc obsessively loves LGBT people, Feminists, blacks and indians.

What I mean is that the war in Afghanistan after 9/11 has made the conflict and disagreements between US/NATO and Pakistan very personal.

When the US/NATO slaughtered Pakistani soldiers at Salala that was no mistake. It was a well orchestrated show of force to send a message. The US/NATO underestimated Pakistan. Pakistan made them pay in the same coin.

Someone talking about ratios? india ain't one to talk, they have the most disproportionate ratio in number of people in poverty in comparison to the total population.

Pakistan has fought a 20 year War on Terror, india has been sitting on its @$$ spoon fed by its Western Masters. Pakistan has endured economic losses due to this two decade long War on Terror, losing hundreds of billions of dollars in GDP, while india has been pumped full of Western investment, in their (West's) bid to prop it (india) up to hedge against China.

So don't be talking about comparisons and ratios. indians seem inherently detached from ground reality.

If you say, war against terror then who was responsible¿

Yes, it was Pakistan itself by hosting Talibani in Pakistan against USSR. US gave you everything to you by paying cash, military items etc.... Pakistan enjoyed relationship with US as much they can in 1980s and took the benefits ...

It was not fault of India.

Former American president, Richard Nixon even said that indian women are the most ugliest creatures in the world and that he has no idea how anyone could make them pregnant:

The Americans can cry rivers now. They have behemoth challanges ahead of them. We are not on their side anymore. Cold War challanges were kindergarten stuff compared to challanges of this era. China is a behemoth. Russia resurgent. Iran, Pakistan etc. all challanges for the West. The West is dealing with major problems. The bad news is that US/NATO has no support from most developing nations except certain East Asian nations and Hindustan. Like US China has money and influence. The best US and Western nations can do is make noise. Noise that falls on deaf ears as UN votes indicate.

.
100%. We need to break all paths and relationships that lead to the US. The less we engage with the Americans the better for Pakistan.
The US is Pakistan's number 1 export partner. China is trying to make Pakistan dependent on it. Russia is an enemy of Pakistan. Where do you suggest going? India?
