May be after few hundred years later, people might ask who is this guy name Mohammad in Quran. Any clue about him and his family.....Govts save pyramids and land marks , but so called muslims failed to save their heritage. A heritage which show the simplicity of prophet and his companions.

Muslims don't care about what others say, Muslims have only and ONLY 3 holy places, if it took from those Muslims to demolish shrines and houses to develop those places to facilitate and accommodate pilgrimage, then be it. That's what Islam, Muslims and logic say.

How are Saudis supposed to accommodate the increasing numbers of pilgrimages by building highways, railroads, tall buildings and other infrastructural without demolishing what is in the surrounding areas?

i would prefer not to make Hajj into las vegas wahabi land and such circumstances, its better to help needy people then waste money visiting Las vegas ripp off making tourism based on few square inches of brick cube and throwing stones

Its all about the money. The more people come to Hajj the more tourism and currency in Saudi banks ie in the ruling family's pockets. If they want to make more hotels why not expand Mecca? Make hotels on the outskirts of Mecca and improve the transport system.

To me houses and belongings of Prophet Mohammad(saw) and his companion's are more of a historical treasure. They should save it not destroy it.

Once a certain elite takes over religious sites it then becomes a successful business. And in business its all about profit. Shame on Saudis for destroying historical sites.

Mr these are ordered by Allah and his rasool saw those who consider it useless are themselves useless and hajj is compulsory on muslins spending money on it is order not waste waste is done by those who run away from hajj on parties and other crap stuffs.
