there promise was 2 years and its easily doable in 3 years but govt did poor planning during the first 2 years and further delayed the hydro projects, wrong coal planning at gaddani and went into super expensive solar power giving the company 2x tariff that is acceptable

positives: good growth due to massive chines interments which is happening in Bangladesh(24 bilion dollars+) and srilanka too, is this Chinese expansion or is it nawaz doing?

With the tax systems, rich pay a lot and middle class pay just about average and the poor pay few with exchange of more benefits. Unfortunately, the rich community don't pay so the government has to borrow the loans to invest on the development progress or do nothing.

When Nawaz Sharif assumed the leadership, Pakistan was already at the debt dumped with the unstable economy strife with terrorist attacks constantly all over Pakistan. In few years later, the terrorism problem is solved, the economy is stabilizing, and the market is booming all thanks to loans. They cost the money.
