IAF should send the Hinds in CAS.

Gunships will finish the job faster.

That will violate the agreement on the LOC of 10 km no fly zone. Will put the Hinds in direct risk of being attacked by stingers etc which Pak can easily blame on non state actors as always. Dont be impatient. The rats are cornered. They will either get killed, or will scurry back across the loc to their holes.

its not fault of army, their hands are tied by the chutiyan babus and our peace loving brigade, headed by manmohan singh. Chutiya babus have been degrading the decision making of armed forces since the 1971 war. Theses assholes want to control everything and want to reduce armed forces to being a puppet. Ours is the only country in the world which is invaded so frequently by its neighbors. The *** holes netas have no time and are busy in playing politics.

I'm amused at the number of people here declaring what India should do. Like using Mi-35s, bofors, carpet bombing, or whatever. Just pause for a moment and think about this - don't you think the IA knows these options, and knows better than us what to do? I mean, it's not like the armymen have not thought about all this, while we forumers have. They know what hardware they have, whether those can be used and so on. Let's leave it to the professionals, please.

As of now, there is very little info about what is going on there. The army itself has said that the details about the operation will not be revealed until 72 hours after the op. There can be a hundred things we are not aware of. For instance, whether a Bofors can be bought to a location that is suitable to direct fire. Whether an aircraft (helo or fixed wing) can fly into that spot without overshooting into enemy territory.

If military operations were so easy that internet warriors can provide solutions for every problem (carpet bomb the place, artillery, et al) then we would all be generals, wouldn't we?

i personal think that if any terrorist occupy such a difficult area in any place of the world. some saught of nerve gass or chemical weapon must be use to minimize cost and time
