What's new

Arvind Khejriwal resigned as Delhi CM !

He got funds from Ford foundation

But I thought y
But my point is that Pakistan is not going to do any such thing. So what exactly is AAP trying to achieve by calling for plebiscite, knowing very well that the preconditions will never be met?

Who exactly is the AAP trying to impress with such comments? How exactly does calling for plebiscite in Kashmir helps the "Aa, Admi" :undecided: ??

Jesus man, they clarified their stand on kashmir as a part of united India. They AREN'T asking for a plebiscite.

no.honesty is not the only quality to lead.capability is also required.quitting after just one trial??offering 50% tariff reductions o defaulters??thats like bribing..and again who pays 6 crores on behalf of those who defaulted??those who paid the tax..thats not the way to run a govt.politics is different to activism.criticizing is easy.leading is not.

But when there is no honesty AT ALL, you need an opposing force to try to straighten things out.You seriously think BJP will remove corruption? Not in a 100 years. So if none of the two big ones are gonna do it, who is?

no body can remove corruption.not BJP,congress or even AAP.they can only create the systems which can reduce corruption.people say he got good intentions to change the system and i say intentions are not the only prerequisite to change the system.i mean im sure we both also have good intention to reform the system does that mean we should be made CM to our respective states??the real question is do we have the capability and know a path to do it??

.
AK always said i came here not to make a government but to pass jan lokpal.....Now it is left to the people to decide to vote for a person who want to form a government and govern or a person who want to form a government to pass few bills/laws..... and he doesnt know the basics of democracy.... He is one of those guy who believes either my way of highway...... I think we should support AK for his fights against corruption.... But not by voting him....

The most nefarious idea in our society is that somehow we will always have to live with corruption because that goes hand in hand with growth- lemme point out to the USA- they will not put up with so much that we put up here. The volume of corruption is unbelievable.China had a 2 trillion USD economy in early 1990s- same as ours-why don't you ask @Chinese-Dragon or any other chinese members here if china had pothole-filled garbage filled roads in those years. Whether they had blackouts or water problems in those days in major cities. We are in a phase where our apathy is showing more starkly than any other country. Keep going on like this and when we hit 4 trillion in 9 years, you will still see the same roads, water and electricity issues. AK is only an illustration of how extreme the problem is at our end, and we are so used to things being this way we are not able to even visualize how stupid things ahve become.

are you suggesting that corruption can be made 0??do u think that corruption in chna and us is 0??i said corruption can only be reduced.its impossible to make corruption 0.

Absolutely not., this was the right decision to take. most senior member her are trying to potray that Arvind is being a cry baby and resigning for not getting his way. On contrary the objective was simple to bring a strong anti graft bill... Both Congress and BJP stonewalled this to ensure that their corrupt jleaders remain safe.

There is no poin in forming a government when congress which is supposedly in support stonewalls key decisions which are imperative to the AAP's prime agendas. I totally support reelection in delhi... Congress will end up losing the rest of the 6 seats and Bjp will fare even worse....

I don't know how educated people get fooled so easily. Just because it is Kejriwal it does not mean he is above constitution. everyone know BJP was in support of law but only wanted it to be presented constitutionally and Kejriwal could have waited for only a week for the centre to agree on it and then introduce the law in Delhi assembly. But his intention all along was to sacrifice himself to gain some sympathy votes and that is why he did what he did. He had no intent of doing any good for Delhi or the country. All he has is personal ambitions and it is people like you who are helping him in his goal.

49 days circus ended in disappointing manner...

I wonder what'll our electronic media do after a week now??
Every minister of Kejriwal govt. gave a full 7 hour per day sitting for any of the one TV news room..
Do any one of you pdfians see such a loyal party for tv mens?

Ab dekhna wahi baasi purani sannate ko cheerti hui Sansani...

I agree he should have sticked to Anna's advise of not entering politics as he is not made for it. He is utterly impatient and have my way or highway attitude. He didn't even leave his guru anna hazare for his political ambitions then who are the people of delhi??

Delhites have now seen the idiot in him and will not vote for an anarchist like him!!!

Aur agar pakistaniyon ko aisi leadership chahiye to le ke jao isko!!

Not being able to make it zero is not a justification for making it 100%. While you criticize AK, did you bother to ask why the delhi governments continued to prevent last mile connectivity to water pipes already laid for more than DECADE? Why, in delhi, where per capita availability of water is among the highest in the world, water was still scarce? His allegation that the last mile was DELIBERATELY stopped to facilitate the tanker businesses (owned by congress and BJP legislators) is pretty bang on. People of delhi have been suffering while the politicans have been making money on all sides- first on contracts to lay pipes and then, on tankers by not installing the final connections. You think this should be ignored because 'corruption can't be removed'? I can assure you that if this was in the US, a lot of heads would have rolled a long time ago.

Power tariff hikes in delhi are actually very similar to what a company called 'Enron' did to california. And we all know what kinds of revelations later came out around that episode. And we want criticize AK for questioning these things when in other capitalistic countries the same would have led to severe consequences?

Kejriwal wanted 'Jan Lokpal' issue to be alive till loksabha elections as this is his biggest weapon and he never wanted this to be implemented at thus time. He could have easily passed the Jan lokpal if he would waited for just 1 week more. He intentionally choosed the un-constitutional way because he knew that opposition would although suppot Jan Lokpal but definitely not his way. He fooled all and thats clear.

my problem with him is..he quit at the first instance he failed.he did not try to convince other parties.he did not even send the bill to congress and requested them to support him.its a minimal courtesy when they are supporting his govt.to me this whole episode seems nothing more than gaining peoples sympathy and getting in to power with a better majority next time.and i cant imagine they way he subsidized the defaulters.thats like punishing the honest for paying their duty.if power tarriff was high why not subsidize all the people??and where did he get the money to subsidize them??again from the pockets of those honest people.in a democracy of this size and these many diversities theres no my way or not type of politics.you have to make concessions to meet your ends. congress would have considered if he offered a portfolio or two to them.he tried nothing to pass the bill.
you know i strongly believe that in a democracy people get the govt they deserve.if govts elected are corrupt thats because people elect them are corrupt.ask people not to take freebies, money, liquor during elections.you know what??if you want to see corruption free and fair india theres only one solution and certainly thats not passing few bills.if u want to stop corruption then stop paying corruption.all the 1.2 billion people.and that involves me too.how possible is it??

What is this kashmir seperation BS that I keep hearing about.... No one has advocated any cessation ever. there was a personal opinion by one of the leaders aksing for public opinion on deployment lever of armed forces. And then there is endosement of plebiscite in kashmir to which both India and pakistan are signatories, and which call s for removal of all pakistani forces from occupied territory of jammu and kashmir.....Every PM from Nehru till date has endorsed that.

read UNSC resolution on kashmir, no political party in india including AAP has endoresed anything else.

Unity and integrity of the country>>>>>>>>>>>>>>any UN resolution

He hasn't 'quit'. He WANTS a majority so that he can finally do whatever he wants witout depending upon congress or BJP. If anything it shows he's got it in him to do the job. He was shaky and vulnerable till now- you bet he won't be when he gets back. No one wants a doddering and uncertain govt. If he can get support on ballot, that's the right thing to do.

Kejri already knew that his government was in trouble after that binny guy threatened he has 4 MLAs.

The rest was all a drama to cover up.
