The purpose of this thread is to serve as a place where all paintings and posters related to the Third Reich (1933-1945) can be posted for educational/informational purpose as well as to keep track of an almost lost, priceless form of art from an era many people only know from the perspective of the victors of that great struggle. This thread has no political agenda and is not aimed toward any specific ethnic, national, or religious group. Any off topic posts will be reported to the moderators.

And please, i'll reiterate: NO CGI's (Computer Generated Images)!.

Thank you.

The following art is made by Ernst Krause, who was a painter at SS Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler's Propaganda Division. This explains the style of his paintings.

The painting above seems to illustrate German soldiers and high ranking commanders of various branches/units of the Wehrmacht and Waffen SS.

The following art is from Finn Wigforss (1907-1973), A Norwegian SS volunteer and artist. As you see, some of the drawings are describing life in Norway, but most are from the front.

What's with the fascist glorification ?!!

It's just appreciation for the art of an era.
