mainly posters are of recruiting. various units/branches of German armies are shown with SS soldiers of northen Europe.Though it doesn't contain any muslims SS soldiers.. Plus some hatred/racist images. Anyway good way to read their minds now

Unfortunately some of the paintings and posters have been deleted from the original links therefore they are no longer visible on some of the posts on this thread, depriving us of the opportunity of viewing some of the rarest pieces of art from an era which so few people actually understand today. However, i would appreciate if others could also contribute here.

All credit goes to the original websites from where i found these posters. Unfortunately many of those original websites are no longer running therefore the scattered blank posts you see without the images. In retrospect, i should have downloaded and saved all of those rare paintings and posters before they were taken down.

Did the George Washington legion exist or is just a figment of jack higgens imagination?

Lol when i saw this thread i was expecting the paintings of the Fuhrer (the ones he made in art school in Austria)

I have read that the Germans were recruiting American POW's to form an American anti-Communist legion but their efforts never materialized due to the chaos prevalent within the final months of the war. Though, i've never come across the exact name of the legion so i can't say for sure if it was called the 'George Washington Legion.'

I did think about including those but they were made pre-Third Reich Era. Though i do plan on making a separate thread on those.
