Arranged-marriage vs ‘love-marriage’

I guess Islamic marriages are best suited for Muslim countries like Pakistan. Sad that Muslims are following more and more of western and hindu culture. So many times on TV I see Pakistani women without head scarf or just putting it for the sake of it rather than being dressed moderately. Best is niqab or burka but at least head scarf thing should be there.

Well you can't judge the whole society from a few TV programs. Most of Pakistani women cover their head and when I most that means vast majority. The women you see on TV and entertainment are mostly rejected and defective pieces of the society. Pakistani women are far more beautiful but they stay in homes and covered..

I dont care about the beauty aspect of your comment, but i totally disagree to the concept of confining women to homes.
Only a regressive mind will think women are inferior to men and should be lockedup.

Actually we don't care what others have to say or think. However here what I meant was that they don't appear on TV channels and don't want to appear to TV channels. They are far more free than other woman when it comes to have fun and enjoy life. They have friends and they meet them, they go to the schools and colleges, drive cars (the ones who can afford it) and even get to select their partners but their beauty is for their husbands and not for public.

I'll prefer Arrange marriage.. Cause the one who raised you have the right to take this decision of your life..

There is no Love exists in real world.. Its all about Fiction.. Love marriage requires more compromises and mostly after marriage people can't do that.

I find it amusing to see a discussion about such archaic cultural stuff online here.

In europe "arranged marriages" are seen as absolute madness and stoneage.

I would never accept a women my parents want give me. How can i share my life with a person i feel nothing for?

There is no state level enforcment of a dress code in Pakistan if a woman refuses to wear Hijab she had full right to do so
