What I fail to understand that within 24 hrs of so called Balakot, Noweshera strike aka operation swift retort was conducted, 2 IAF plans shot down, 1 own self goal the MI17, aerial bombing around Indian military installations and of course the very public beating of Abhinandon by Kashmiri villagers.

Was it all not enough to humiliate the Modi and his RSS regime and dent their image massively?

Returning of Abhinandhan within 48 hrs was the core reason. For the same, Ayaz Sadiq has exactly raised the same version on the directions of someone. Thats is what the Indian's version across North America. All of my Indian colleagues and friends here in US and Canada told me several times "your Khan decision of returning our pilot with in 48 hrs was the core reason of Modi’s win. He was literally lost everything till your stupid Khan announcement of Abhinandan return, our Modi media suddenly changed the perspective of entire scenario from losing to victory for us”.

They did not reveal that the chopper was shot down by friendly fire till the day of the election result - else that would have gone pretty badly

Our narrative is different - one MiG and one F16 of Pak were shot down. And Pak just dropped some payload near the LoC and Abhinandan chased them into their territory. Of course he was caught and beaten. And if he wasn't released immediately, it would have been a major embarrassment for Modi. But your Govt did not even wait till the elections - heck he was released within 24-48 hours.

All in all, this was seen as a positive for Modi. From expecting 200 odd seats in the election he got 300+

But that just means that congress will come in to power and you previously said that they are corrupt. India needs a new party.

Everyone is corrupt. They just took it to a different level in the 2nd Manmohan Govt. If they come back, the level of corruption will be scaled down. A new party - that's difficult
