Now, even as someone who genuinely loathes Modi all I can say with certainty are -

1. India crossed IB (not LoC) and dropped a payload.
2. Pak retaliated with 24 hours by dropping a payload by crossing the LoC
3. Abhinandan crossed LoC and got shot down
4. In the chaos, India shot down own chopper (which is the biggest issue for me)
5. Abhinandan was returned within 48 hours

Rest is all just narratives. Pak has not provided definite proof of a 2nd plane being shot. India also hasn't provided definite proof of F16 being shot down.

We wil never know the damage done with both the payloads dropped.

Eventually whether a second Indian plane or a Pak F16 were shot down would emerge when US declassifies it. I am sure they know everything.

I've heard a lot about it. When you see a 1000 Indians online and 900 of those are just saying similar things, you get a warped view that he's far more popular than he actually is.

Yeah, agreed w.r.t the certainties. I think the embarrassment for India primarily stems with the huge lies that have been picked up by western media, while Pakistan's claim of 2nd plane being shot down hasn't really been picked up.

PAF have release onboard camera of actual bomb flying towards Indian army depo. On the day of swift retort, IAF officals clearly mentioned that PAF bombed around Indian military installations, which they themseleves described as an "act of war". Also, no one asked so to where actually that AIM120 debris which those officials were waving, where it was recovered from.

I said nothing about narratives, its all plan facts and realities. If those who oppose present Indian regime do not use it for their own political benefit, to embarrass and shame RSS/BJP regime, do not blame Pakistan for that. Pakistan gave enough ammunition to these forces, they simply didnt use it. This is the same pattern we saw when China conquered 1200 sq km of Indian claimed territory, yet the same result.
