It has a laser rangefinder too. If they can make it smaller and add in an illuminator, they'd have an all-in-one handheld. Those with it can be relied upon to more than just fire rockets, they can guide missiles.The PD-7 sight is designed for ALL types of RPG-7 ammunition. So catering for POF made rockets would not be an issue. The other good thing is that this sighting system comes with a night vision attachment as well both in Image Intensification and Thermal technology. So amazingly it will give the RPG-7 the ability to be used at night as well which currently is not even offered in ALCOTAN or any other shoulder fired unguided rocket system. I sure hope Army is wise enough to get this sight inducted ASAP & on priority!
