Army most popular institution in Pakistan: Gallup survey

Don't laugh; most of the U.S. Presidential election polls are conducted with 500 (low quality) to 3000 (high quality) respondents. If the sample is randomly chosen, 3,500 people's opinion does indicate popular opinion to probably within 5% margin of error. Key word is random sampling and that is not easy.

How did you reach the 5% margin of error here?

.
This survey was done by Gallup Pakistan group. I have not really regarded polls as much. This poll actually casts more doubts on Gallup Pakistan.
Are they really immune to army prodding?

.
Unless they are fraudulently using the Gallup name, neither Gallup nor Gallup International will allow such a charade.
Why?

Gallup claiming that 92% of people say army so good is as ludicrous as 90% of Americans saying they love Biden

It's absolutely utterly ridiculous but hey it's thumbs up from army

5% margin error is pretty much for any sample above 2000

(95%CI)

BUT SAMPLE has to be truely random which obviously this isn't even if we assume this was real survey which obviously it isn't

If you ask 500 truely random people you can get good sense of ground situation

. .
Not really it easy to get random sample

Just ask person do you like army or not if they say yes, include them in the study and call it a random sample

Problem solved

Issue is why 92% why not 100%

It's same question president ayub asked his subordinate after the elections
Saddam Hussein and Hosni Mubarak level of popularity.

You are talking about Confidence Level, not Interval. Two different things.

And it depends on the responses received. Higher the sample proportion of +ve responses, lower the margin of error.

It all boils down to how much of the responses are actually truthful! Not holding my breath on this though.
