Army Chief to address nation on 6th September

Pakistan Army is really adept in carrying out an undeclared coup. The Civilian administration is just its servants. no surprises there.

.
A prime minister or president should address the nation about the progress and problem of the nation not a army chief. A army chief is bellow the rank of full minister in order of presidesnce yet he is given the task of prime minister ,

The Nation is rallying behind the COAS and not the 'Democratically Elected Civilian Govt.' The COAS is the man we want to address the Nation and not some wannabe who'll have his back roasted in a few days time by the same operation he will claim to have launched to save the country. Pakistanis, unequivocally support Gen Raheel and frankly speaking, do not care whether the Constitution of Pakistan places him below the Civilian Govt; this might be the first time in history that a General has lead from the front without imposing Martial Law and has received such tremendous support of the Nation, minus the corrupt

and why does that worry you? Perhaps, because your servants are getting massacred?

it can be told that undeclared army control still exist in Pakistan unlike Bangladesh where recently army work from the behind forming a caretaker govt. to hide their face from 2007-2009

Apology of Retired Pakistan Army official - Major(R) Amirul Rehman who fired at Cricket legend Wasim Akram

Road Rage.
Pakistan Army officials are exempt from justice in Pakistan.Law of the land is for bloody civilians.

If Pakistan can't stop its armymen from opening unprovoked firing at Wasim Akram, imagine what's going to be the fate of the line of control.

The prime suspect involved in a road-rage shooting incident with former captain of Pakistan cricket team, Wasim Akram, has submitted a written apology to the cricket legend.

In his letter, Major (retd) Amirul Rehman, has tendered his unconditional apology over what he says was a "sad incident" which arose out of road rage and added that he and his family were a great fan of Wasim Akram.Major (r) Amir said that he faced opposition from his family members in favour of Akram. He called the former left arm all-rounder – also known as the Sultan of Swing – a national hero and pride of the country and added that the whole incident was a misunderstanding.

The suspect also sought a personal audience with the cricket legend. On August 6, Wasim Akram's Mercedes was shot at on Karachi's Karsaz Road while the former cricket star was on his way to the National Stadium Karachi to conduct a training session for young bowlers.

The shooting incident took place after Akram got into a minor car accident.

Following the mishap the former cricket captain had asked the driver to pull over. A heated discussion had ensued and the suspect, who was sitting in the back seat, came out of the car and fired a shot which hit Akram's vehicle.

Will the speech start with " Mere aziz humwatanon " ..?

Another PR step in building up image of the savior. Lets see how long can this pretence of civil-military harmony goes on.

No, I do not worry, I am glad in way. Army is doing the right thing. it should continue that way. Spending 20% percent of your federal budget on Defence. That is music to me, perpetually being stuck in war economy. The rise in expenses without creation of tangible national assets, will create an economic bubble which will result in difficulty in paying Pakistan's national debts, and enlarging your budget deficits (increasing of Def. budget when national expenditure has lessened, which is again a result of lessened revenue generation for the state).

Army Chief (Neither navy nor Airforce) addressing a Nation is a bad sign for a "democracy" but going by the History of Pakistan, it would go over your heads what the decorum of a parliamentary democracy means. It only brazenly brings forward what we have known all along, Army calls (all) the shots in Pakistan.

If that makes you happy... good for you, ... BUT what should worry you is... it makes me happy too. :)

(I would be outraging, if the same happened here)

Very unusual, very very unusual. Something is brewing it seems.

Nothing unusual..... Gen kiyani used to make speech every year on youm e shuhda which was telecated live... But i think since this year they didnt celebrate youm e shuhda..instead i think they are therefore doing it now on defence day this year

speech and address to nation are two different things, COAS only address nation starting with "my dear countrymen....", not this time around though, thats why its unusual, but given the circumstances its not very surprising.

For that to happen, a prime minister should be elected fairly by the people.

Corrupt to the core politicians who have looted our nation for decades and get elected by all sort of rigging should not have this honor.

No it didn't. Stop lying. Or at least prove from UN website itself that is removed from the list of unresolved issues.

C'mon, Indian media says so. It must be the utter truth then.

What else do you expect from RSS-Madrassah educated brainwashed Indians?

Army Chief will address nation on 6th September defence day. In his speech he would tell about progress on Operation Zarb e Azb and Karachi and Baluchistan operation and also tell about terrorists and their backers. Special focus will be on issue of Kashmir and LOC violations being done by India.
Thumbs up
We are scared like hell:fie:
