Army chief General Raheel Sharif on Monday directed Pakistan Army soldiers deputed at the Line of Control (LoC) to continue to ‘effectively’ respond to India’s unprovoked firing across the border.

According to the military’s media wing, General Raheel during a briefing in Jhelum said the army will leave no stone “unturned to defend the motherland”.
Frequent incidents of cross-border fire have been witnessed since a heightened situation in occupied Kashmir. More than 100 protesters have lost their lives to the security forces in the valley while dozens blinded by use of pellet guns.

The two countries have been at loggerheads since the killing of a populist rebel leader Burhan Wani by the occupied forces in the valley on July 8.

India also accuses Pakistan of being involved in an attack on an army base in Uri on September 18, in which 19 Indian soldiers were killed. Islamabad has denied the charge, which Delhi leveled without any substantial investigation or evidence.

Time to deploy heavy Artillery and Baktar Shikan and mortars and also other weapons and take out several Indian soldiers in next few days.

Thanks Gen. Raheel, this is the response Pakistan should've offered from all corners.

Unfortunate Pakistan is chaired by a Khuaja-sira PM who has "expressed his sorry for the loss of Pakistani soldiers" and mentioned that "we can defend our homeland if attacked". That is such a shameful statement when you are sitting at the top of the system and for the fact know its the enemy country trying to rage a war.

baktar shikan would be a valued addition for demoliotioing indian fortifications on LOC.

Hit them hard , bloody cowards indians all the time provoking LOC agreement

Its time to strike them very hard no more going soft, so next time they will think twice, just firing back by few rounds is not going to hurt them that much.

Now a good time as any I guess.

@Oscar @Joe Shearer @hellfire @Khafee @Panther 57 @notorious_eagle @Irfan Baloch and all the ex soldiers.

You all were fighting for your country and fighting on the borders when our parents weren't even married.

You have experienced all form of situations and escalations and war.

Can you all please share your opinion and analysis as to how you perceive and predict the situation will go. Heightened escalation or will a period of deescalation happen?

It would help all of us learn as well as understand the situation better.

7 soldiers are killed in a single attack. Why do they need orders from COAS to respond.

I wonder what's stoping our Javan's to fu......k the Indians soldiers. This killing of 7 soldiers requires a severe response from Pakistan.
Enough is enough.
