who knows that could have been an honest mistake-- everybody makes mistake--- even i he made a slight mistake of filling the year incorrectly-- wasnt it govts responsibility to aleast crosscheck the documents--- why everything is being turned upside down now all of a sudden-- army chief had been requesting humbly to resolve this-- govt. didnt do this for obvious reasons-- he decided to move to the court-- why such a hue n cry about it-- let the court decide about it-
aah.. what nonsense-- this arguement would have been valid had he submitted wrong certificates -- his matriculation certificate to be precise-- apparantely his age on his matriculation certificate was correct and thats what he produced in the documents too-- so this arguement of ringing real acts is stupid- as he didnt produce wrong facts at the first place-- yes there was a writing mistake in teh form-- but the onus of verification of that was on the govt. and not the Chief .If he made a mistake than accept the consequences is not that what life teaches us? Why crouch it under honor. Where was his honor for the last 40 years? The service rules say you must bring out the real facts whithin 3 years of joining service? Did he?

So you accept that the Chief was a either duffer or a liar when at the age of 16 he filled out the academy form. Both ways he needs to be sacked.

youre repeating same thing over n again-- here's my last reply over this...
Why did he not move the court 30 years ago. You are such a fool. Do you know what an Army List is and how often it is published?
Maybe he never thought that such a banal issue is gonna become so big-- I trust my Army Chief.
You have some unknown reasons for hating our Army Chief.. I support him.Ha ha obviously you donot know what an Army list is? You can follow a duffer to your grave but not me!
this UPA ignorant and arrogant gov't sucks dck the army chief is a good man and great military leader unlike his predecessor loudmouth kapoor who cares about his age? all that should matter is his leadership quality and what he does for the nation
the government out of everyone else should know its always nation first.
Well he has done his job and must accept his mistake and retire. Let the new guy do his own job. No one is indespensible. why do you want to emulate pakistan?
