Eini is right, the "Palestinians" did cross a red line - but as far as the rest of the world is concerned it is not the one he's thinking of. The red line the world thinks Rajoub crossed is the one of "moderation": that their terrorism would target Israel and its supporters, rather than the West in general. Arafat succeeded as much as he did because he did not openly cross that line, hence he was labeled as a "moderate" indifferent or antisemitic Westerners could do business with. Jibril Rajoub violated that "moderation" by threatening the Argentines.

We'll see if there will be consequences.

I think with Israel it's beyond the point of debate.

The BDS movement is gaining pace and with more and more Isrelis admitting that Israel is a rogue state ( I'm referring to breaking the silence movement etc) I hope that the change can come from within Israel.

Argentina cancelled its participation for a very simple and crucial reason: The event was originally to take place in Haifa as scheduled. Israel decided to move it last second to Jerusalem as a diplomatic campaign to coerce international community into recognizing Jerusalem as a defacto Israeli capital. This is controversial because UN, US, EU & rest of world do not recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital, instead they want to push a peace plan in which the city is divided into two capitols, one for Palestinians(eastern portion) and one for Israeli's(Western portion).

So of course a soccer club doesn't want to associate itself with this sensitive political drama.
