There is no Tanoli in afghanistan, the indigenous tribe with similar name in afghanistan is Taniwal also called Tanai/Tani and is actually a sub-tribe of khostwal. Tanolis of Hazara claim fake pashtun descent, same is the case with Sudhans of AJK who are actually of Mohiyal Brahmin lineage and wrongly claim connection with Saddozais of afghanistan when there are hindu mohyal Sudhan brahmins living on the other side of LOC in Poonch and Rajauri.

Absolutely correct, for example indian hindus have made each and every kashmiri muslim tribe in kashmir valley as some kind of mythical hindu lineage, wikipedia is a trash source when it comes to racial origins of various people as it can be edited by anyone , I have personally editted many such pages and the people present wikipedia as source here . Acutally racial and ethnical origins of the tribes are all conjectures, only genetic DNA testing can reveal the real origin of different tribes and clans living in pakistan.

Wikipedia is a good knowledge source for everything except history and tribe/ethnicity origins due to trolls writing manufactured articles about the origins of various tribes and ethnicities particularly indian trolls.

Listen, one is pashtun by blood not even speaking pashto is enough unlike in case of Punjabis. Afghanistan Tanolis are distinct from Hazara region Tanolis. Just like Afghanistan Sadozai are not like Sudhans of Azad Kashmir.

Both Marwat and Niazi tribes are major branches of lohani pashtuns, there actual origin lies in Katawaz Paktika province of afghanistan and they definitely also look like people from paktika afghanistan despite the fact that they have left paktika some 500 years ago and settled in Lakki marwat and mianwali respectively. Also Sindhi lohanas were assimilated among afghan pashtun at the time of Muhammad bin qasim invasion of sindh that is a long long ago , some 1300 years ago. Since then they have heavily mixed with ghilzai pashtun tribes of paktika such as Sulemankhel and kharoti etc. I think they are genetically same as any ghilzai afghan from paktika. That is also the reason why they retain afghan pashtun look because they were large tribes and were mostly endogamous during the last 500 years sojourn in lakki marwat and mianwali respectively.

Exactly, Niazis are best exemple to expose fake pathans. Despite mixing here and there, average stick out. Excuse of mixing with punjabis and that to just in few hundred years does not work.

95% of sudhans and Tanolis should look like Afghan pashtuns conterpart Sadozai and Taniwali if they were real. Especially when Niazis of Punjab can have stereotypical pashtun look punjabi associate with them.

Then vote for PPP in Karachi, then they will surly care about their vote bank. Its stupid to ignore national party and vote on ethnic lines in big city.

Voting for MQM does not make sense, they will remain confined to Karachi. Only competition between national parties in Karachi can bring development.
