How many people know that the Halo franchise was inspired by the novel Ring World
Certainly not this one. I do not play PC games so I would not know. But am getting more impressed with the graphics every year, although I still think these CGI human characters need a lot of work, especially when they talk. I notice that their upper lips are not moving in words that involve the rounding of the mouth, like in the letter 'O', the way real humans do.

Lo ji Raja bhai..Phlay to mein kabhi vegie kha laita tha..tum ne wo option b close kr di :P

No its not difficult at all.We do eat alot of Chicken, meat, "Qeema" etc etc here but I was talking about food chains...like if you go to any mall and decide to eat a Pizza...you have to order a "viggie" :P Yakeen karo..saray log line mein kharay koi ham burger,Chicken pizza, Spicy Chicken noodles blah blah order kr rahay hty hain..hmari baari ati hai to "One Viggie pizza please" ..aik lamhay k liye to banday ko bhttttttttt "out of place" mehsos hota hai :partay:
I understand what you mean. Mein gorey loug k sath kaam karta tha and i was the only muslim there aur lunch free tha humare liyea lakin mein nhi khata tha tu wo heran hotey they .mein ik corner mein baith kar halal food kha rha hota tha :D un ko explain karna be muskil hota ha.. ik dafa batayea tu uss ne bola tum halal meat le ahoo asian shop se tu uss se cottage pie banatey hein

Yaar mere matlab options kum karna nhi tha woo tu mein wessey he baat kar rha tha..mein personally boht kum khata hoon in food chain se..muje nhi yaad k kabi mein ne veg pizza be khayea hoo from non halal pizaa shops..I personally found the taste of local halal pizza shops much better than pizza hut or domino and their price is reasonable as well..woo kehtey hein na onchi dukaan pekha pakwaan :D

non-halal meat is not haram it's actualy makrooh me & my friends from mid-east even did sehri @ burger king just say bismillah & eat it i do that yes no doub't pork is haram (forbidden) but not beef, mutton, chicken, duck etc if its not slauthered then it's makrooh (highly un-recomended ) but not haram (forbidden) like pork or alcohol is , take the eg: of sunnah salat it's higly recomended but it's not a sin if you don't pray unlike farz ( in which case if you don't pray it's a sin)

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “This religion is simple and easy to follow; whoever makes it hard will only defeat himself.”

Four Imams differ on this matter. I have seen that mostly Arabs, Somalian, Kurdish don't care about eating non halal meat. Also if you avoid Makrooh you will be rewarded although u will not be punished for doing it.

I have seen that many shops fry chips/fish and pork sausages in same oil? What do you say about it? :)

so, gambit

when will i get the answer to the question

to the new and classical Urdu speakers -- do we have an equivalent for ''bon apetit'' ???

i mean, i know we can say ''khao, piyo, ash karo'' but is there an actual term or phrase we use?

Tease us all you want but I am going to Karachi end of November for two weeks and will eat all the Student Biryanis, all the Seekh Kababs, all the Niharis, all the Bun Kababs that I can eat in those days!! I am planning to be at the Port Grand complex several times. I know, I know, I mentioned that I don't like to eat much of mammals but, for two weeks, I will be a hypocrite.

Here is Port Grand. I am sure people have seen the videos. It is in Urdu but, sad to say, they use too many English words to even call it Urdu. So non-Desis may be able to pick out some words as well.
Beautiful chicks, by the way!

You said in your previous post that eating non halal meat is makrooh. Where did you get this from if not from one of four mainstream schools of Sunni jurisprudence? :)

Favorite meats would be chicken, bacon and turkey. I've tried beef as well from sirloin to the Big Macs at McD's while living in the US, it was alright. Cannot eat seafood though, never developed a taste for it except popcorn shrimp
