Are TURKEY and PAKISTAN really ALLIES?

A good all rounded analysis. Nice.
The video is misleading. Turkey is firmly with Pakistan. And its not a recent phenomenon but from the 50s. After the chinese , Turkey is the 2nd all weather supporter of Pakistan.
The Greece India nexus is just conjecture, not really the reality.
From a Indian viewpoint, Turkey is more harmful militarily for India, as it has had direct access to the best NATO armaments and training for decades. China is still copying Russian stuff , and is unproven. Until Erdogan screwed up , Turkey was going to get f35s , the ultimate stealth plane. It could have provided Pakistan valuable insight into 21st century cutting edge technology.

Agreed, brother :) our ties aren't tied to a government but from the hearts of our people to each other.
According to the Turkish defense analyst Mete Yarar, Turkey-Pakistan relationship is hidden in the "Historical Code"!!! The folks, who are supporting Turkey now, are the grandkids of the folks who supported Turkey 100 years ago....

Some stuffs simply never change....

Erbakan wasn't Prime Minister of Turkey until 1996 Zia Died in 1988,and then leader of Turkey, was Turgut Ozal why you are mad at me is it because of my recent posts towards Turkey's follies and misadventures in the region lately
Im not mad at you..im for the allies of Pakistan..NOT Syria ..Syria is not our friend nor our ally. Even if we talk about principles, a nation reserves a right to fix its neighborhood if its affected by wrongdoings from across, the way Assad supported YPG and pushed people into Turk territory,Turkey has all the right to get it resolved b hook or by crook .Pakistan has always supported Syrian national integrity in past even after what Hafez did to us but the red line has been crossed here esp after how Iran/Syria use our people in their fight.

BTW Erbakan was a Deputy PM back in 1978.

Look Pakistan is a South Asian nation first and for most I know you have bias towards all things Turkey, and it's people fine I get it you lived there as a child but I noticed a trend here among many Pakistanis is to criticize Iran and Arab countries for their policies but keep mum about Turkey I have been vocal towards Turkish Imperialism in Syria and Iranian Imperialism in Iraq leave the Arab states alone let them fix themselves and also neo Ottoman Empire isnt coming back no one wants it not even the Turks themselves Erdogan will retire just like Erbakan who was a failure all these deluded So called Turkish Islamists will lose relevancy and Turkey will most likely revert back to its Kemalists past

Pakistan is part of Central Asia and South Asia and Greater Middle East..whats your point? We sholdnt get involved in ME issues? why not?
Your understanding of imperialism is misplaced. So Pakistan is doing imperialism in Afghanistan?

India will be happy to see this and get its version of translation on this point.

Next video... Are North Korea and China really allies?
Very few Chinese think North Korea is our ally, North Korea is only an ally of itself.

Hi

they did give the opportunity. Yemen crisis. Itwas pakistan that screwed up.

Along with with creating a military force for the gcc—-pakistan would have had a battle group sitting on enemy flank.

also it would have brought in around $5 billion aa year hard cash.

How do you know that they could have given it to Pakistan....In Afgan conflict, Pakistan stood with Taliban which are sponsered by US and Arabs...So what is the return of the investment you got for alligning with the interest of Arabs for Afganistan?? Again, i am talking about tangible economic benefit like building roads, ports, universities etc.....

For the atmosphere of the forum, the Uyghur Issue has especially ruined the friendliness to some extent.

VERY VERY true, I can see most Chinese members who signed up to this forum to troll India like me became neutral because of those Xinjiang exchanges in PDF.

One inappropriate statement made by the Pakistani government can swiftly change Pakistan's image in the eyes of the Chinese government and the Chinese public , fortunately we haven't seen any yet, but I got a feeling it's a matter of time that pops up.

Hmm... interesting. So, you'd accept a hypocritical relationship going as long as it doesn't hurt your feelings... but you'll become an adversary as soon as some one expresses their true feelings if they don't correspond to yours.
This is pure gold!

I don't believe in altruistic friendship and brotherhood just based on love when it comes to international relationships, so what you made in your statement could be true and it goes both ways.
If China brings up Gilgit-Baltistan and so called minority human rights issues in Pakistan, you'll see how this bilateral relationship goes for a free fall.

For the sake of the atmosphere of this forum, Pakistanis should be excluded from these discussions and even if they do take part in such, then they are not the representative of us as a whole. I am pretty sure that the official stance of the government will stay the same regardless of whoever is in power because China is an ally we can't really afford to lose no matter what.

For the Uighur issue itself, i don't fully buy neither the Turkish nor the Chinese side. I believe i'm not fit to chose any side in the first place because we literally know nill regarding the realities of the situation on ground. And people of both nationalities should respect that.

It's unfortunate, i used to have alot of fun reading the joint trolling haha, hopefully those times return. We'd like to have good relations with both countries as both present unique values to us, we as a country can't chose one over the other. Hopefully that will be understood as well instead of putting us in a difficult situation.

Well at least you accept your selfishness but why 'demand' a fake acquiescence? If Turkiye wasn't Muslim or had no legacy with Islam, would you expect Pakistan and Turkiye having any affinity or association? Now, naturally if Pakistanis have an opinion about Uighurs you'd be only deceiving yourself if you in anyway think that they feign blindness or be blatantly duplicitous.

So you don't accept that fact that countries based their relations with each other on self interests and benefits? I never demanded anything, I just pointed out the obvious facts.

I never said "countries" don't but what I'm missing here is your inability to understand that other side can have a position or opinion that may not be same as yours...
And by you I mean you made yourself the protagonist in your previous post by saying "you" changed "your" opinion after discussing Uighur issue with some Pakistanis.

aye.... please don't start fighting
No fight... he's a grown up ... let him speak his mind... I have no axe to grind.
