Arabs slam Pak stand on Yemen and Call on Pakistani Parliament to Fall in Line

It's not that easy for one to just leave their home.

Well despite Israel being surrounded by Arab countries they made it easy to bring every Jew in the world, create their own identity, and defeat them in every war that was fought.

Not every Jew in the world... There are more Jews in the United States than in Israel. Moving on, after WWII, the Ashkenazi Jews in Europe had lost their homes and had no choice but to immigrate to Israel which had been established as a state for Jews. Their situation was kind of the same as the Muslims of India had during Partition.

As for Jews in Muslim countries, a great majority of them were persecuted and were forced to leave. Others were deported.

sorry but you are mistaken here. i said many times before. the coalition have enough fire power and men. pakistan is experienced and always needed. but the role and the message here is a political one.

The UAE doesn't seem to think so. Judging by their statements, the political message apparently wasn't enough, we're to face consequences unless we comply.

Do you know how many trained and active military personnel are needed fight an insurgency? You can't wage war with aerial campaigns alone. And once you have men deployed you need to have/maintain a certain ratio of your troops compared to estimates of the number of local insurgents. And some very high rations are needed if you plan on winning.

Do you know how long and how many men need to be deployed to fight off this particular insurgency? How many reserves will you have? How many deployed will you have, how many of those deployed will have fighting roles? How many will be there for logistics, planning, medics, management?

Take the example of the British in Helmand. I can't remember the exact number of men we had for this region, but the British were horribly undermanned. The patrols were so few and so ineffective, insurgents slowly came in control of anywhere that wasn't patrolled, and some places that were patrolled were contested. The British and American combat doctrines for where they were undermanned were very defensive and conservative. They did not contest control, they stayed in large highly secure bases, outposts, forward op bases were manned only temporarily. The shortage of man power and defensive doctrine meant that the Taliban easily gained uncontested control in areas. A large percentage of the British troops there had many roles that most people forget, only a fraction were sent out to patrol and fight if need be, they did not leave their base looking to get body counts of insurgents.

So how will the GCC with it's small active armies, wage a war against insurgents, deploy their troops for months if not years? And somehow successfully wage war? All while being inexperienced in this sort of thing.

You can see now why I'm being so critical of your view.

my words were very clear.
again NOTHING will go in or out. iraq had an open border with iran. iran let all ppl in incluiding alqaeda from afghanistan. its official.
anyway lets agree to disagree. but in shaa Allah il come back soon and il tell you i told you so.
just give it some time and you will see for yourself.
16 days is nothing in war time.

16 days is nothing. Even a year is nothing. Sectarian conflicts take much longer.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you guys are turning this into a far bigger issue than it is.

And no, the person involved was not the foreign minister.

Clearly, KSA can deal with this situation alone militarily. But putting together a coalition was all about political signals and posturing. Pakistan's response is also a political move.

Pakistan may well participate in the operation behind the scenes. But politically, its declared stance of neutrality is all that matters.

The real mistake here is that KSA asked Pakistan to be part of the coalition in the first place. KSA knows that Pakistan's demography and geography does not lend itself to openly declaring its allegiance to one camp or the other. KSA, as a friend, should never have put Pakistan in that position. A position of "either you're with us or against us".

Having said that, Pakistan's natural place is as an ally of the KSA, without being antagonistic to the Iranians. That will always be the case because of religious demography, politics and history. Let's not get emotional and blame the Arabs for everything wrong in Pakistan. They are our friends and our well-wishers, and vice versa.

While there are some civilian elements in the KSA and the Gulf who may be partly responsible for funding extremism, the Arab governments have nothing to do with the violence plaguing Pakistan. All nations have bad apples among them, and that is true for both the Arabs and Pakistanis. Generalizing entire countries and nations is never productive.

You realize a lot of Jews from Europe are still moving to Israel ? Recently a lot of French moved there. Its a slow process but its working in the right direction for them. Even the ones living in the United States have connection. They send massive economic and geopolitical support

you are right. and we are fixing this. and we are much better than we use to be few years ago. we are fighting those kind of sick ppl ourselves. but when you attack 30 million ppl and generalize you become just like them. not better

I don't know what they are up to but they should realize that KSA and Pakistan are no enemies. The relationship goes way beyond just the leaderships. People should know about this before they talk.
Hi,

And Suai
Again, you are correct.
However the fact that some Pakistanis treat protecting Saudi Arabia and House of Saud as a religious obligation are incorrect.

Now, I don't know whether they are genuinely dumb or are deliberately trying to goad other Pakistanis into believing this tripe.

However the fact remains that Pakistan can choose to go to war to protect Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It does not have to be painted as a religious obligation(that some are trying to do) and thus a fait acompli.

For example, US will go to war in trying to protect the territorial integrity of Britain...and it has nothing to do with religion.
Or India will go to war to protect the territorial integrity of Nepal and Bhutan...and it has nothing to do with religion.

I wonder why some Pakistanis are trying to paint it as such or be apologetic about it.
Hi,
And i wonder what concerns Indians whether or not its religious war ? Obsession perhaps

Tankman, either you don't read before typing or you are in the category of this silar sikander/zarvan.

What you just wrote is exactly what I wrote.
Notice I also said - some are trying to paint it as a religious obligation. Either they are plain deficient in the brains or are malicious enough to use this to wrap the issue in.

We all know there is less than zero threat to mecca or medina. So the question is - why are some Pakistanis trying to paint it as a religious obligation?
Hi,

Please dont lower me to standards of Zarvan,
Secondly, some pakistanis paint it black or some paint white, What does it matter to you ?
The fact that if there is 0 threat to holy places then we are just defending our ally simple

Meaning of admonished=warn or reprimand someone firmly.

Take that Warning and shove it,where the sun dont shine.

@BLACKEAGLE when are we going to see Jordanian troops on the ground is it right after UAE OR BEFORE.
Somebody has got tearful out of madness recently . Anyway, Pakistan has the right to agree or refuse sending it's troop to any country, but Pakistani PMs made it clear that any violation of Saudi sovereignty will drag strong reaction from Pakistan. Nonetheless, we don't need Pakistan at all. It's contribution is a plus of course but not desperately needed. It's the same as when the USA asks other countries contribution in it's wars around the globe.

@BLACKEAGLE when are we going to see Jordanian troops on the ground is it right after UAE OR BEFORE.
It seems Jordan and the UAE are enjoying their time in the sky, they won't get down on grounds these days:

.
The reason why they are asking you and Pakistanis is simply because you two are the only powerful nation states that are either in the region or have some security interest in Middle East.
Did you read the article ? They aren't asking, they are demanding as if it was a forgone conclusion Turkey has to do their bidding. Read before you comment.

@DESERT FIGHTER
shut ur ugly mouth.. u r nothing but shyyyt.. dont have anything to say so now u went to cursing... that proves my point that ur an ugly retard and shyyt. and i dont have time to respond to ur stupid childish posts.... now shut up get lost..

.
I think a good response would be for government of pakistan to take up the matter with superiors of this minister and ask them do they agree with hus statement. I am sure he will get a shut up call immediatly but pak government is too incompetent to do that...
