Arab support for Turkey.

As you know since the Turkey begin to support Libya against putschist Haftar. Turkey has been at the focus. Some Arab countries regimes critisized Turkey's actions. Not only in Libya but even in East Mediterranean by siding with Greece.

I have seen some comments from Turkish and Pakistanis in this forum that are generalizing Arabs and criticizing them, even insulting them in some occasions. First of all you have to remember that you have to criticize their regimes not Arab people themselves. When you look at the UAE and Saudi Arabia they are both ruled by monarchs and Egypt is being ruled by a putschist dictator.

There are many Arab people that are supporting Turkey in the 500 million Arab world, even in the countries like Egypt, UAE and Saudi Arabia despite of their regimes. In this regard, i will put support messages from Arab people to Turkey whenever i encounter it online.

So, my request is; just make the distinguishment between Arab people and their regime.

Good thread. It is a common error of all of us to overgeneralise the highly diverse Arab peoples and their wide range of opinions and political leanings. They're not a homogeneous entity.

I know a couple of Algerian families and they staunchly support the Turkish position in Libya. I assumed this was due to rivalry with Egypt but they tell me that many Algerians have affiliation towards the Turks since the Ottoman era.

If one day Putin or Macron had confessed that his mother was an Arab; We can believe that this is a Turkish-Arab conflict.

The only purpose of those who want to turn this into a fight between the two noble nations, or handling in this way, only to consolidate the Arab nations(and people who adopt the Arab language) for the sake of a distorted political purpose, ofc under theirs puppet generals or tribal leaders.

In general we have no problems with Arabs, i can asure you. Only because of internet we speak with out thinking emotional. I now a lot Marocans to Yemen love and suppor for Turkey.

Of course all MB affiliated support (Dectator Erdo ) not Turkey .... once the Turkish Regime removed and a friendly leader comes ..... seats will be switched ..... The main stream Arabs will have good feelings about Turkey again just like before 2011 .... and MB members will be Turkish worst enemies ......

If you need the support of a group over Nations ..... your regime can do just like what is going on now .


Turkey could be a bright spot in this part of the world regarding economical growth/ reforms , empowering private sector, innovation, semi- democracy and many other things that Turkey can offer to it’s Arabic neighbors .... it can be the Engine that move the industrial and economic wheels in an area of 500 millions people ......

Can be a cultural and arts hup for the region together with Egypt that has Superiority in this sector .

But unfortunately, the Turkish Regime choose fight over peace ..... choose to be enemy not a friend ..... choose confrontation rather than cooperation ....

these are the rational / balanced facts that you couldn’t find in that chaotic situation in the region....

1.Your country leaders are trying to steal our EEZ with Greece and others.
2. If you are with UAE you cant be our friend ,they dont give permission to this because in reality they are owner of your goverment.
3. Syria and pkk is our red lines .
These are the main reasons not related with Erdogan. There are other reasons but they may be related with AKP politics.

Let's try to be more constructive and make empathy. Our members never try to see things from Egypt's or UAE's perspective, fist we have to diagnose the problem then we should try to find a solution via dialog.
