Imagine that you have only bought a new phone with a brand new Apple branded cover. Of course I am speaking about the cases Apple advertised with the 5S's launch. You hear all this stuff about awesome video recording on the new device, slow motion, & an industrial design rivaling the architect of the Pantheon itself. So you bring home your new device & notice that the power button rattles & while you are slightly annoyed, you guess it won't ruin your experience in the long run. Besides, the store isn't going to take your phone back for such a complaint anyway.
Later on you choose to record some videos, especially with the new slow motion feature, & guess what happens then? The power button's rattling is audible in every video you take thereby ruining the video entirely. So now you are angry as hell because the iPhone is an expensive & premium device that should be void of such nonsensical development flaws given Apple's grand claims, but you decide to try & muffle the voice with the leather cover. It works, the voice is no longer audible & you can use your new phone's features comfortably. Wait a second, leather expands in a matter of days so the rattling
returns!
What do you do then? You get rid of the cover because it pretty much hides the phone's design, & besides, there is no need to protect it anyway because the device is already flawed. Alternatively, you could go outside & pick a fight with someone or find a cockroach roaming about & stomp the "chit" out of it.
Congratulations, now you know what it's like to have a brand new device turn out to be useless for one of the features it was touted for.
