Apple iPhone 6 in China: 1 million pre-orders in 6 hours

Planned obsolescence works in different ways, apple uses almost every kind of this method to increase profit.

Offering every half year some new stupid model of an iphone G/S or any version that have essentially nothing changed except overclocked processor or some alterations. That kind of planned obsolenscence creates the feeling of people being backwarded and advertizes to stay "uptodate" which is every freaking year the same crap.

Using low quality materials, not isolating or reinforcing calbes of charger or head phones which tend to fall apart far often than 1-5$ headphones "made in china", using of bad quality case and screen which gets damaged far more often than necessary and inferior to competitors. Designing low quality phones with arrangement that no average guy without understanding of electronics can exchange broken, old or damaged parts by himself leaving him to Apple store fixing of his iphone and overcharging 100 fold for unnecessary work, such designs discourage people of "doing yourself" to fix problems

But some other phone companies come out with models even more frequently than Apple.

Any smartphone is a little too advanced for the average person to fix. Just like car repairs you go to the dealer and pay top dollar or go to a local business and pay less and hope for the best.

I cracked the screen on my kid's iPad2 (I guess that would be obsolete in your eyes) recently by accidentally stepping on it. I got it fixed at a local shop for $60.

Nokia come with Windows OS never never been white-black. In September 2013 the Lumia 520 became the best-selling device in the world, selling more units than any other model of Windows phone, PC or tablet
We're difficult to find any Huawei here ...
Wow
what a job
so u r using nokia?
I heard that those ancient white-black screen nokia phones r selling really good in VN.seems like it's true.

I have an iPhone 5,I don't care it's made in China or USA,unless it's useful,it's OK to me,
Nationalism has nothing to do with the market

No! My baby is only 10 months old... It doesn't even have any scratches on it because it has a Coach phone cover ... :(

20 Million orders = $12 Billion in sales.

Yes bro. Thats why U.S tech companies are still by far world leaders in every field. Every body envies/loves their products , even their most fiercest 'rivals' i.e Russia, china, iran etc.... They all use U.S products in droves with joy.:D

saari dunya ko mafe in china phone beck ke khud iphone use kartey hain. ye chinese bade hi syane ho gailey hai.

Eventhough I'm a apple hater, I have to admit that I almost bought the IPhone 6.

A week ago I went to a store to play with one and I really liked the IPhone 6 plus. They finally had a big screen.

The only thing that stopped me from buying it was the bendgate issue, plus the fact that I didn't even have enough money.

At least you are honest.:enjoy::usflag:

Apple is such a horrible company and people who buy into this crap that has as main priority "planned obsolescence" this company literally sells low quality through name and people are falling for this low quality nonsense. A hispter company gone mainstream and the hipsters still think it is something special.

Are u joking bro?
Do you know apple is the most valuable company/brand in the world(even ahead of omni potent/omni present google )?:agree: So the worlds most valuable brand/biggest tech company is a horrible company who produces crap which chinese people queue up to buy, sell their kidney to purchase and sleep overnight at apple store to get one for prestige? :cheesy: lol this will mean chinese and majority of people in the world are all dumb then to keep buying apples phones.
You really need to re-evaluate your statement bro.

That's right. I mean, given, I do tend to support Japanese brands (i have 2 phones; one a Sony and one an Apple), but Apple carries almost an elitist feel to it. Everyone in my batch either have Apple products. I mean, I even get teased for using "Windows". One of my students even tried persuading me to sell my Windows-based laptop and get a macbook pro. I just smiled.

I'd say im a dualist. I like windows products, and i also like apple products (ipad, ipod, iphone).

But there are quite a few of "only apple product" users that i know. Quite a few, actually.

Chinese hate their own products love foreign products.

Chinese love quality Chinese products but hate inferior Chinese products。

Chinese love quality foreign products but despise inferior foreign products。

There is a price for everything。

I have to admit after decades of being a Windows person I bought a MacBook Pro about 4 years ago. I bought a new laptop a few months ago (I asked for Windows 7) but I still use my old MacBook 99.99% of the time. I didn't like the MacBook at first but it seems to have grown on me - especially with less crap being put into my startup process stack eating CPU cycles.
