We
wrote yesterday about a new beast in town, Zopo ZP999. This Chinese device is already listed on OppoMart even though it says the handset is out of stock, while it is not listed on the official website just yet. Anyhow, we got ahold of some new details when it comes to this device, like its full specifications, leaked press images and the alleged official retail price for international customers… and yeah, this device will reportedly sport a sapphire glass panel with anti-glare coating on the front.
First thing’s first, according to GizChina and the info they got, Zopo ZP999’s official retailer price for customers outside of China will be $419, which is extremely affordable. It doesn’t say will that include shipping and / or tax though, I guess there’s no way tax is included, but shipping might be. Either way, we’ll let you know when we get more information regarding this. Let’s jump to other details, according to this information, the full name of the device will be Zopo ZP999 Lion Heart. No, this is not a joke, the device might actually be called Lion Heart, presuming that is not just its codename that is.
According to this info, ZP999 will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) sapphire glass display along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which you’ll be able to expand via MicroSD card up to 64GB. The device will be powered by MediaTek’s MT6595M octa-core chip clocked at 2GHz which comes with 450 MHz PowerVR Series6 G6200 GPU. 14-megapixel camera will allegedly be located at the back of this device and sport F2.0 aperture while a 5-megapixel camera will be featured at the front fo this device. The device will sport a 2700mAh battery according to this info and will come with Android 4.4 KitKat on top of which you’ll find Zopo’s very own UI. Dual-SIM will also be a part of this package and this is an LTE capable device. As far as network support goes, here’s the info: GSM:850/900/1800/1900MHz ; WCDMA: 900/1900/2100MHz ; FDD-LTE: 800/1800/2600MHz. The device won’t support NFC but will come with MediaTek’s HotKnot features instead. Gesture Controls and Quick Wake are some of Zopo’s software features that will ship with this device.
That’s pretty much it. It seems like this Chinese company will truly offer a great device and yet price it rather low considering everything, presuming this info is legit of course. Do you consider getting this thing?
