Apple iPhone 6 in China: 1 million pre-orders in 6 hours

@Hu Songshan : I want to report this. It's nothing related to the topic but focus on insulting meaning.

LOL.

Just wanted to show that Chinese are rich, thus can afford multi-million iSth, as well as taking their dogs overseas to the point of spoiling them.

But, on topic, expect Chinese companies to dominate more market share in China as others slowly but surely dwindle.

.
I myself don't want to see our people paid too much to buy newest version of Iphone.
A real fact that, The Western they are more practical than Orients.
A cellphone is not the must have. Sometimes they have the same affect as Facebook at work.
10 years ago, when Asian, even Vietnam used more DVD and digital camera, they still VHS tape renting and film camera using.
A fact that copyright is respected in Western.

How does Vietnam's mobile phone market look today percentage-wise?

Vietnam is the manufacturing hub for global Samsung and Nokia.
The best selling is Samsung phones ranged from some dozen dollars to hundreds.
Nokia, Sony ... are other of top 3.

Apple Iphone is another matter, teenager and young men and women want to buy them as ifan.
They are crazy for it.

I can afford A device or a pistol every month...lets understand the psyche someone who has to spend foolishly will spend no matter what even if it is China or US. I have bought a sold smartphones in last few months even though I had planned to keep them for a a long time I did not but i decided not to invest any longer until a better Windows and Android product that I am waiting on and am sticking to a 2 year old Samsung device and it fulfills my needs better than ip6 that can't even transfer simply.

Android is working aggressively to bring about much streamedline OS to compete with iOS but let me say Microsoft needs to be less arrogant and let Google/Android developers uses patents to refine Android OS both can make money.

Richie Rich's already had it smuggled from HK .It's just the average Joe buying it now.:D

Zopo ZP999 To Sport A Sapphire Glass Display And Cost $419 Internationally

Published on October 10, 2014 by Kristijan Lucic

We wrote yesterday about a new beast in town, Zopo ZP999. This Chinese device is already listed on OppoMart even though it says the handset is out of stock, while it is not listed on the official website just yet. Anyhow, we got ahold of some new details when it comes to this device, like its full specifications, leaked press images and the alleged official retail price for international customers… and yeah, this device will reportedly sport a sapphire glass panel with anti-glare coating on the front.

First thing’s first, according to GizChina and the info they got, Zopo ZP999’s official retailer price for customers outside of China will be $419, which is extremely affordable. It doesn’t say will that include shipping and / or tax though, I guess there’s no way tax is included, but shipping might be. Either way, we’ll let you know when we get more information regarding this. Let’s jump to other details, according to this information, the full name of the device will be Zopo ZP999 Lion Heart. No, this is not a joke, the device might actually be called Lion Heart, presuming that is not just its codename that is.

According to this info, ZP999 will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) sapphire glass display along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which you’ll be able to expand via MicroSD card up to 64GB. The device will be powered by MediaTek’s MT6595M octa-core chip clocked at 2GHz which comes with 450 MHz PowerVR Series6 G6200 GPU. 14-megapixel camera will allegedly be located at the back of this device and sport F2.0 aperture while a 5-megapixel camera will be featured at the front fo this device. The device will sport a 2700mAh battery according to this info and will come with Android 4.4 KitKat on top of which you’ll find Zopo’s very own UI. Dual-SIM will also be a part of this package and this is an LTE capable device. As far as network support goes, here’s the info: GSM:850/900/1800/1900MHz ; WCDMA: 900/1900/2100MHz ; FDD-LTE: 800/1800/2600MHz. The device won’t support NFC but will come with MediaTek’s HotKnot features instead. Gesture Controls and Quick Wake are some of Zopo’s software features that will ship with this device.

That’s pretty much it. It seems like this Chinese company will truly offer a great device and yet price it rather low considering everything, presuming this info is legit of course. Do you consider getting this thing?

Bye,Apple? haha Apple obsolete.Too expensive, can not afford ah.

.
Dude, this whole report is pure BS.

1 million is nothing in China.

Apple is not even top 5 in smartphones in China.

It's just that the OP has a deep anti-China agenda because China is stronger than his country.

Apple is in the upper segment of the market, it is not supposed to be the number 1 selling phone in a market like China which is a middle income country, but this shows that even in China those who can afford would prefer a foreign brand over Chinese brands.

Chinese are not a nationalist bunch。They are very open to foreign products and ideas。

Very unlike the Japs。

.
In a couple of years, foreign smartphone brands will be lucky to command 20% of the Chinese market which is by far the largest in the world。

15% 3 years down the road

10% 5 years down the road

:lol::D

Absolute nonsense!

When it comes to smartphones, Chinese brands rule over foreign brands.

Apple's share has been dramatically falling. They used to be number 1 or 2. But as Chinese brands improved their quality and brand, consumers switched over to domestic brands as they knew they were getting ripped off due to the hype of foreign brands.
